Cecil Hurt is reporting that Mike Slive is in College Station right now.  I hope he doesn't come back empty handed.  And Boartitz, don't think the SEC wouldn't trade you for A&M, we'd do it without thinking twice.

Disclaimer: I still oppose expanding the SEC.

That said, this is the most palatable (of the realistic) option that I've heard.

Somebody give me google map directions to College Station, cuz it sounds like a loooooong trip.

Fuck's sake. I can be sittin on South Beach (and enjoying MUCH better scenery) in the same time.

I don't believe I've ever traveled more than 6 hours for an away game. I have never visited Fayetteville.

Okay, now I really really want Texas A&M.  I agree with B'ham...They fuckin' fit with SEC football (12th Man, Wreckin' Crew, The Bonfire, Reveille the Collie mascot, the Midnight Yell, the Military, etc.)

TIME TO BONE UP ON AGGIE FOOTBALL

and don't forget about this.....

Tell me they don't belong in the SEC.

I always thought Texas A&M was in west Texas for some reason.

If Dallas, San Antonio, Austin, Houston, and College Station are all in the eastern part of Texas, what the hell is out West?

There will not be many visiting fans at TAMU-SCe or VATech games, that's for sure.

You never know.  West Virginia had quite a few people make the trip if I remember correctly.

Getting up for one OOC road game is different from traveling for a conference game, where you get a chance to make the trip every other year.

Dirt and pumpjacks.  Other than that, NOTHING.  ABSO-FUCKING-LUTELY NOTHING.  Once you get west of Ft Worth, you can set the cruise control, because there is literally not a fucking thing until you reach El Paso.  And that's still not much.

Lubbock (Texas Tech) is panhandle.

Houston is only 2 hrs from College Station.  If this happens, and for the record, I still genuinely hope it doesn't, but... IF IT DOES, then y'all plan the road trip, because I will be the one planning the tailgate party from HELL for all y'all, Texas style.
