Some good news for you GH about the Incredible....

http://www.droid-life.com/2010/07/19/rumor-droid-incredible-ota-halted-froyo-added/

It says "Rumor", but it is later confirmed in a later article if you go to their front page.

This is bad ass for us Droid Incredible users.    :vn:

Chop, RWS - I got Froyo (2.2) pushed to my Incredible Monday. I have confirmed that Flash sites work like a charm. Yeah, its da chit.

My skreets are impeccable.
You will be an iPhone user soon enough.

The iPhone4 is everything the iPad is and much more (except smaller).

You just got slipped a crack rock. Your first hit is free.

Yes, but I sold the iPad a few weeks ago.  Still correct with me ending up with the iPhone though.

I'll be curious to hear your thoughts between the two platforms after you have had da debil a while.

So why sell the tampon?  I thought it was the most amazing thing ever invented?

"Hey my friends are the ones that wanted to eat at that shitty hole in the wall that only served bread and wine.  What kind of brick and mud business model is that.  Stick to the cart if that's all you're going to serve.  Then that dude came in with like 12 other people, and some of them weren't even wearing shoes, and the restaurant sat them right across from us. It was gross, and they were all stinky and dirty.  Then dude starts talking about eating his body and drinking his blood...I almost lost it.  That's the last supper I'll ever have there, and I hope he dies a horrible death."

Chop, lemmie know if you have the proximity sensor problem.  I'm reading mixed reviews of iOS4.1 from people online.  Wondering if a brand new one wouldn't have the problem.

The new Otterbox fixes all the issues.

From an engineering standpoint, I don't understand how, though.

Edit : Looked at pictures of one, and I still don't see how it fixes the Proximity Sensor problem...

Maybe that extra 1 or 2 MM of the case????  If that's the issue, why would Apple make a software fix in 4.1?  Because they don't want to say they fucked up hardware again?

So while the proximity sensor issue may not be "fixed," the otterbox prevents your face from touching the screen?
