I am not sure what is so bad about calling corrupt politicians "thugs" and people who take illegal campaign donations "dummies". To say Alabama's politicians are of the most corrupt is an understatement. Have been for years. This guy is just stating the obvious. If you don't think that is true, then you don't much about our outdated state constitution or our state's history.

For me, I don't think it's the message nearly so much as it is the delivery. If a guy sits down in front of the camera and talks about corruption in politics, I have no problem with it. I think it starts right at the top in this State. My problem is the over-the-top effort to make his pitch to all them good ole boy, gun totin' conservatives. How bout that succession of clips where he slings around his 30/30 right in the face of the camera. Wooooo booyyy, I's gonna' clean me up some KO-RUP-SHUN heyah in Aleebammee.

Sorry if that sounds "elitist" and smug to you. Everyone else in this thread completely agrees and is embarrassed for the state of Alabama because of that ad.
