Oh snap!

I don't care what anyone says that is a cool fucking trampoline.  He built it below ground, how fuckin cool is that shite.

I'd cover that bitch up with grass, grab a beer and watch the lawn men try to cut the grass.

He won't be successful.  Not that he won't be okay but that he won't live up to the expectations being built for him.  I actually feel sorry for the kid.  He would have had a better chance had he gone to a place with a little less "gimmicky" offense.

(here fishy fishy fishy)

I have to ask...what's "gimmicky" about Auburn's offense?  To say that, suggests they do something that is unique AND/OR new, AND/OR deceptive.  Can you tell me exactly what that is?

That's just bammer excuse #3,214 for the Iron Bowl being as close as it was.

It has no more substance than "Auburn only beats us when we're down" or any other asinine bammer talking point.

In other words, it makes them feel better about things.

Points and yards.  Points and yards are just a gimmick to sell tickets and lure recruits.  It's really of no use in real football games.  Smoke and mirrors.  Snake oil.  It's Flea wearing a diaper during a concert.  Total gimmick.

It's something bammers parrot because they hear the likes of Shane from C'point say it.  It's ignorant.  But yes, it's designed to make them feel better.  I have news for the bammer.  ALL offense has some gimmick.  NONE of them tell the defense the play they're running.  Deception=gimmick.  Play action fake and pass?  Gimmick!  Motion to check coverage or gain leverage?  Gimmick!  Ever see ANY offense line up in the same formation every time?  Formationing to gain an advantage=gimmick.  Counter Trey to get the defense flowing one way then cut back=gimmick.  Zone running play which has a primary point of aim for the RB, but also allows him to "pick the crease"=gimmick.  This is bammer's bread and butter along with play action passing off the same look, which, by the way, running one play that looks like another to begin with...that's a gimmick.  Triple option where they leave a DL unblocked then make him wrong no matter what he does?  Gimmick!

Gimmicky?  Yeah all offense is.  Unusual?  No, Malzahn doesn't run any plays you've never seen many other teams run.

Power Football:

The Power, or Power G is a staple football play...especially out of the I formation.  Most all teams run it, or something very similar...as evidenced by the numerous teams shown in that video.  It's just good, old fashioned, smash-mouth football.

Yeah, good post.  For the record, our local bammer here was just baiting us for fun, I'm not sure to what extent he thinks we're gimmicky.

You're right, it's basic power running....and your video only shows stuff from 2009.  If you pull up film of Tom Osborne's Nebraska teams or Joe Gibb's Redskin teams, you'll see basically the same play.  Maybe out of different looks and formations, but essentially the meat of the play is the same.

(here fishy fishy fishy)

I notice you've not even attempted to address anything that was said about football and your gimmicky comment.  As for predicting "He won't be successful".  Gosh, imagine THAT coming from a bammer that lives on an Auburn forum flaiming.  And then qualifying it with your next sentence.  Going out on a limb a bit there huh bud?  Predicting a QB won't live up to the hype is like predicting heat in August in the south.  Could have an early cold snap, but chances are it will be warm.  How warm is anybody's guess.  Oh, if you're going to feel sorry for overhyped QBs that are doomed to fail...better check your own house first there moron.  Star Jackson comes to mind.  I'd predict his failure, but it's too late, he alreadhy has.

Lastly.  It's pathetically transparent to post mindless BS then put your own defense clause in it for when your're eventually outed as having made yet another fucking dumbass post.  "here fishy fishy, fishy" only serves to prove you know that anybody with any football savvy at all will see right through your fucking ignorance.  All you have to do now is claim you were fishing for responses and never address any questions you're asked.
