Havent looked REAL close to the winning %'s in a couple of weeks but if I remember correctly, the Stros were only the 6th or so worst team in MLB by winning %. The Orioles....good Gawd. Pirates aint far behind either unless something changed lately.

We are still the shittiest team in MLB. Thanks to any Pirates fans out there for sharing the bottom of the cellar with us. I read an article where Wiggington said "It still hasn't hit him that he's an All-Star.....well no shit. Hitting .252 and with 14 homers, it's not that hard to see why he wouldn't consider himself an All-Star.

Thanks a lot! Now I am getting pissed at how shitty my team is.

My favorite part of last night was when Byrd was having a battle with Jose Valverde (in the 8th, maybe? I was a few deep at that point)...that pitcher had incredible stuff and he kept fouling them off and they were smiling at each other in recognition of what was taking place. Of course, the Cubbie struck out to end the inning. Kudos to Byrd, however, for his awesome defense in the 9th...I'm glad it was Ortiz on the basepaths but it might have not mattered.
