Anyone bought an iPad? I'm sure Saniflush was first in line at the local Apple store Saturday morning.

I'm thinking about getting one, but I want to wait for the 3G version to come out later on this month. Reviews are overall pretty good. I figured between all of you nerds someone had to have one already. If so, give me the skinny.

One word Awesome! I do not have one, but one of the guys here at work got one, it is as cool as you think it is. Graphics were amazing, I think I literally drooled on the damn thing. I will not be getting one in the near future due to the fact that I would like to keep my marriage intact, however I think you are smart waiting for the 3g version. Only downside is still no Flash...which is idiotic to me.

I might get one the end of the year, or I may wait till the next version. I would really like a camera on the front for video conferencing.

I've toyed with the idea of waiting to get the next version, but I am too damn impatient. Surely they will have all of the bugs worked out of the next one and I'd also like to have a camera for ~~shooting wanking videos and posting them on porn sites~~ teleconferencing.

Worse case senario, get it the 3g one and then sell it on ebay when next years model comes out. That is what I did with my 3g and I just about covered the cost of my 3gs.

I could almost lose most of my contempt for them if they got off their high horse. They act like the rebels waging war against the machine when they are the ones who try to keep everything proprietary.

no flash on the iphone is no big deal...but they will seriously need to address that issue with the ipad.

I have been hearing rumor that the next version of the iphone will have that addressed but have seen nothing concrete on it as of yet. If they have it for one they will have it for the other I would think though.

I've got a typical Mac fanboy that of course pre-ordered his.

Don't get me wrong, it's cool. But it's pretty much exactly what you think it is. A big assed iPod touch with a big assed higher definition screen.

I could see where it'd be cool to watch movies and play games on when you travel.

I also liked that it can double as a digital picture frame, so you could display it when it's docked.

I'm fine with my iPad mini that makes calls. I'd rather just wait for the next gen iPhone, personally.
