I didn't say it was a liberal city, I just said it was fairly liberal for a city that is over 70% white in Alabama.

Valid point.

Students typically vote at their home address.

That being said, I know the AU College Republicans substantially outnumbered the AU College Democrats when I was there.

That being said, it is really just a matter of perspective. I was a political science major, which made it seem like there were a lot of dems in the school. I'm sure in the business school and agriculture schools there were more republicans. I didn't see the site where he got the 61-39 from, but I did see where Lee county as a whole voted around 61-39, which pretty much renders his point moot if this is the data he is using.

What was your major, "How to Behave Like a hair pie in the Real World"?  I seriously doubt you finished college.

Oh, I'm still taking classes.  This might blow your mind but some people continue their education even after they've already received a degree and are using it.  I hope you were sitting down when I said that as I'm sure that thought is foreign to you.

Out of curiosity, since my degree seems to make you defensive.  What degree do you have and how are you using it?

I agree.  I wonder if he's gonna want to compare our tax filings next.  I hope not, sounds like he makes a lot more money than me.  It also sounds like he's not content with his job but that's a different story.

btw, 280, that you didn't pick up on the sarcasm in the Crown thread makes me question your people skills.  Guess it's a good thing you're not in sales or anything.  Wait, what?

280, I love what I do.  There's literally nothing in the world I'd rather do than work in my field and because of that I have no idea what it would be like to be as concerned as you are about other people's job.

As it is, I can't think of two things I'd want to have less to do with right now than sales and the pharmaceutical industry.  There's a lot of pharmaceutical reps looking for jobs right now, let alone doing as spectacular as you have suggested you're doing.  At the end of the day we just have to take you at your word, convenient for you since because of that nobody will question your self-proclaimed (and almost certainly exaggerated) successes in your field.  I would imagine it's a stressful time for you in your industry right now.

I'm gonna guess you disagree with me and would like to counter the accusation that you indeed may not have sales on "lock down".  This of course while boasting of how rich you are and banging other men's wife?  Some people may question some of the things you've said.  I of course won't speak about your credibility.  Especially when you've shown none.

The reps that are looking for jobs, for the most part, are the ones that worked for companies that had three or four reps that overlapped calling on the same pool of doctors.  That coupled with the fact they had weak product pipelines and lost patents on what were previous "blockbuster" products.  There are good jobs in the industry where situations like this didn't/do not exist.  It also helps not to job hop and build up equity with stock options and long term buyout incentives.  That way if you do get bought out, you walk with a check for $60 to $100k, which gives you 6 to 12 months to be picky about your next employer.  So no, I have no stress about my industry.

For the record, I never mentioned how much money I make.  You asked what my degree was and what I was doing with it.  I told you.

Sounds like you really have everything together.  No worries at all from your end it appears.  Despite the forecast of your industry it appears you are the seldom exception that is enjoying the utopia that is being a salesman.  Certainly not an easy task and your successes are due to your hard work, I'm sure.  I do wonder why someone who appears to have it all figured out lets himself get on a message board and boast of having sex with other people's wife.  That does make me wonder.  I would assume most people that enjoy your certain wealth would find that as something not worth their time or productivity.

Why do you think it is that you haven't found a wife yet?

Despite the forcast of my industry?  You must have failed to understand my previous post.  People are always going to get sick, sick people are always going to need medicine.  Companies with good product pipelines or capital to purchase the products to meet the demand will continue to do well.  Pick up a copy of Kiplinger's or a similar magazine of your choice and see what sector most "experts" consider undervalued stocks to reside in.  Answer, quality pharma and biotech companies.  The recent economic downturn hit every industry.  That is why even if your retirement portfolio was well deversified you still very likely lost a good percentage of your money.  So, to claim the pharma industry is doomed because you know someone who knows someone that got laid off is equally as stupid as all of your other post on this board.

So, please stick to posting on topics that you might have a small amount of knowledge about.  If you can find any.
