Others less talented have been given a shot (Akili Smith?). Tebow is one that might be a good low round pick and develop. Use him in the wildcat while training him. Who knows. Roger Stabauch was a runner out of college. And he bounced around the NFL just long enough to get a pension, huh?

Five statements of WISDOM
1. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity, by legislating the wealth out of prosperity.
2. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.
3. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.
4. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.
5. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friends, is the beginning of the end of any nation.

John Parker Wilson enjoyed an NFL salary as a clipboard holding QB last year for the Falcons.  There's no reason in the world the same can't be had by Tim Tebow for any other team, falcons included for that matter.

JPW, for all his flaws, can perform a three, five, and seven step drop without tripping over his own feet or fumbling the snap. Plus, he has great hair.

I agree. Tebow seems like more of a coach than anything. He could hold the clipboard for a few seasons, maybe start a couple games here and there. After his contract, if he shows proficiency at learning and teaching the systems, I could see him becoming some sort of coordinator, maybe at a non BCS school.

I think his life after football doesn't include coaching. Not immediately at least.

I am glad that Tebow is gone from college as I am tired of hearing his name 8 million times a weekend.  Hell they would talk about him when Florida was not even playing.  That being said, I may be in the minority with my opinion.  He has been a winner on every level he has ever played and it's not like Florida played shitty competition over the last 4 years.  I actually believe that Tebow will be a succesful pro QB and if I was an owner i would take a chance on him in the pros.

I don't watch much pro ball but it seems to me that the QB was in the shotgun an awful lot during the playoff games i watched last weekend.  I would not be surprised to see some low level team draft him, build an offense around him, and play a style that noone else in the pros is currently playing.  There are enough teams that go 5-11 every year to take a shot at doing something a little different.

Perhaps the most disappointing waste of potential is not how he may perform at the NFL level, but the fact that he let all of that amazingly hot college co-ed strange that would be at his complete disposal pass him by.

I guarantee you that will haunt him on his death bed.

Not saying this is what he does, but it makes sense to me.

Tebow will play a few years in the NFL (What position? I have no clue), he will make a few million dollars during this time.  After his NFL days he will take his $$$$$ and help his dad with mission work.  As much as he has talked about it, it wouldn't surprise me to see him do mission work.  I think that is where his heart is and what he really wants to do.

It haunts me and I had nowhere near the potential.  I left too much on the table out of a misguided sense of propriety or ridiculous standards or completely misreading situations.  Missed too much low hanging fruit, as it were.

I kinda get the feeling ole Timmy doesn't operate like normal males (on either side of the sex fence) do. I know that sounds strange, but I kind get the impression he doesn't need the...uhm...release as it were.

This is getting off in the wrong direction.

Point is, I don't see him as a viable NFL player. That's me.

Tebow has strong spiritual beliefs and has stayed true to it and I say more power to him. Any guy that can restrain from tapping that ass of the finest of girls that Florida has to offer for his belief in God is true. I certainly believe that he can take that same kind of focus and do what he needs to do to make himself better to be successful in the NFL. I, along with thousands of others, have said he wouldnt last in the SEC either. Ok, I know some of you are going to say, "the SEC is not the NFL", I understand that. The point is that the guy has the focus and drive to do make it. I think he will.

I don't know that Tebow has what it takes to turn a shitty professional team around without an experienced quarterback or coach teaching him.  Unfortunately, due to his popularity and success in college, he will likely be drafted by a shitty professional team.  The Jags seem to be the frontrunner right now, as they have shown the most actual interest, at least in the media.  Holt and Sims-Walker are not bad targets, but the deciding factor would be the Jags' horrendous offensive line.  Garrard was sacked 42 times this past season, which, to my knowledge, is only exceeded by Aaron Rodgers at Green Bay.  That would simply be a horrible place to put Tebow, especially considering his recent string of injuries and poor performances.  If Tebow goes to the Jags, I think that will pretty much end his career unless he can find a way out of Jacksonville before he gets smashed to pieces, or unless Jacksonville improves their O-line.

Tebow+Jags=ticket sales!  I am sure they love him in FL and would gladly pack the stadium to see him suit up for the Jags.

I don't think Tebow will be injured as much in the pros.  If he's passing out of the gun and not running the ball that much, he has a big enough frame to handle some some licks.

Injuries won't be a problem.  Unless his jaw gets tired from snapping gum or he gets hat-band burn.  While standing on the sidelines.
