Calm down. We may have just hired the next Saban. Where do you think Saban came from?? Wait until you hear his PC and what he plans to do here at UT. You'll like him after the press conference. HEll... OSU hired a Div 1AA coach in Tressel and the last time i checked, OSU ain't too bad. Give the dude a chance. This could be fun!

Everyone laughs now, kinda like everyone laughed at UF & Meyer saying his "gimmick" offense wouldn't work, blah, blah, blah. How'd that turn out? Oh, yeah...where did Meyer come from? Utah? Really?

Wow, I'm a positive person, but that has too many holes in it.

Where did Saban come from?  Try the NFL, the SEC, and the Big Ten.

Meyer at Utah?  Yeah, and he went 12-0 there, not 4-8.  In fact, he was 39-8 before getting to Florida. 

Tressell at Youngstown State?  Yeah, he won 11 games or more 7 of his last 11 years there, including 4 national titles in 1-AA.

Those are three pretty pathetic comparisons.  No matter how true it is that Dooley could end up being great there, nothing that guy said applies other than "give the dude a chance".

I haven't heard yet, but I'm guessing that he will be keeping Coach Kippy Brown, the OL Coach, and Coach Lance Thompson.

Another note to add, Coach Dooley was also the AD at LaTech.
