Just sayin' I've received numerous PMs chuckling at how ignorant he looks when he keeps pushing it and snickering at him being goaded. So the sword has two edges. The targeted is the targetee.

If he's doing it for that reason, he should know that a) it's a fail because all it gets him is mocked and b) it's a fail because it just makes him look silly to the 95% of the people who don't get it.

For the record? The prodding of Chopper has its fans, too, as tiresome as that gets to me. I do requests.

This is also your failure, because you've made it clear that it bothers you (RWS as well), and knowing Prowler personally, I know he doesn't give two shits about what other people think. So you ranting and raving and paying it attention, is YOUR failure. Not his in that respect.

"Bothers me" and "Think it's Stupid" are not equivalent. All I've made clear is that I think it's laughable (and that he is making himself look ridiculous in the process). So you failed to comprehend that.

Also, you brought up the PM thing because you thought you were special. You wanted everyone to know, or think anyway, that you're only caught up in this because you get requests to do so. Yeah, I dont think Oklahoma is a serious part of the conversation anymore. I still say that Auburn has a greater chance of getting Newton but who knows.

Good point and I would be willing to bet that has a small play in his decision but in the end this kid wants to be the starting QB, and have a chance at the NFL. In my opinion, his chances are better at AUburn at this point.

I tend to agree, but in reality, and he may realize this, if you can play the position, they will take you. The team around you and the stats they help you produce don't mean much to the NFL these days.

Think of guys at both extremes. You have Graham Harrell who didn't get drafted after throwing for over 15,000 yds and 134 TDS. Then you have guys like Joe Flacco that played at Delaware or Tony Romo who played at Eastern Illinois.

Ultimately, in my opinion, his NFL status wouldn't be helped or hurt at either school. Hopefully he doesn't feel that way though. Hopefully he thinks he needs to go for the best stats he can get, which, after seeing that Chris Todd set Auburn passing records, would lead him to us.
