Jeffrey Lee at Scout is now reporting that Antonio Goodwin is back as a solid Auburn commit and will visit The Plains this weekend.

phuk you, Vag.

I read somewhere else too that he was still likely to sign with Auburn, even though he was opening back up.  Usually when a kid decommits, it's done so to commit to another program.  The fact that he didn't immediately go somewhere else made me think we still have a chance with him.

I'd hold off on the "fuck you Vag" though until we get his LOI, you just never know with these kids.

Just read that he actually canceled his planned visit to Georgia for this weekend and will actually be back in Auburn instead.  If that's accurate, I have to say well done by our staff, we obviously jumped back on him once he wavered.

No credit to Jay Jacobs.

The new "early commit craze" changes things a bit, but historically, kids honor their 1st commits at better than 90% rate.  If a kid makes a commit in Dec or later, you can just about bank him.

My doctor told me I needed to stop masturbating.  I asked him why, and he said, "because I'm trying to examine you."

"I'm very happy with my commitment," Goodwin said Wednesday. "Auburn is where I want to be."

“The coaching staff is what I liked so much about Auburn,” he said. “They area all really good people. I know they will get me ready to get on the field and be ready to play.”

Apparently Trooper showed up at his house waving a towel and everything is good.  He'll be in Auburn this weekend instead of in Athens.

He had to at least act like he was interested in Tennessee to get some attention from the Vol hostess.

Would that be called a "hit n run" in the recruiting circles?

"So I want everybody to think here for a second, how much does this game mean to you? 'Cause if it means something to you, you can't stand still. You understand? You play fast! You play strong! You go out there and dominate the man you're playing against, and you make his ass quit! That's our trademark! That's our M.O.... as a team! That's what people know us as!" ~ Nick Saban

This just in. WIth all of the decomits in the AU athletic department, Johnny Mack Waymens just changed his mind about AU also. Johnny was one of the top recruits. He was known for his extraordinarily fast sweeps. At Loachapoka high school he was highly touted. That is why AU really wanted him. But in the end, he decided for a smaller setting. Johnny will now be the head janitor for Southern Union. It always pisses me off when AU loses out to lesser programs.

Five statements of WISDOM
1. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity, by legislating the wealth out of prosperity.
2. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.
3. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.
4. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.
5. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friends, is the beginning of the end of any nation.
