"Hey my friends are the ones that wanted to eat at that shitty hole in the wall that only served bread and wine.  What kind of brick and mud business model is that.  Stick to the cart if that's all you're going to serve.  Then that dude came in with like 12 other people, and some of them weren't even wearing shoes, and the restaurant sat them right across from us. It was gross, and they were all stinky and dirty.  Then dude starts talking about eating his body and drinking his blood...I almost lost it.  That's the last supper I'll ever have there, and I hope he dies a horrible death."

When Auburn had "No Chance" to beat undefeated #2 Alabama...

Can't find highlights of this one, but the intro is kinda cool to see.

Baptist hospital in Montgomery will never be the same after the Auburn watch party we had there for that game.

The last time the game was played in Jordan-Hare.

In Two-Thousand-Saban. The quote-unquote "dawning of a new era".

No Shit.

I was there.

"OK, when Auburn scores a touchdown this year we are going to start a new tradition. I want this side to say Touchdown. And this side to say Auburn. Ready? Let's hear it"

Then...crickets...for the next 2 games...

Needless to say that the tradition didn't carry on...

for me 1982 and 1989 were the best ones ever......I started going to the Iron Bowl in 1973 and endured 9 straight unpleasant outcomes...........the emotions of the '82 game were incredible.

1989.........I doubt any of us will live long enough to ever witness anything close to that ever again.

As for just plain fun IB's........1986 and 2005 were the most enjoyable ones I have attended......the band playing Louie, Louie non stop after the Reverse in '86 and brodie refusing to go back into the game in '05.....Classics.

Whatever the outcome Saturday, Auburn folks will be IN Auburn with their brethren........for those of you who never had to experience the hell that was the Dump on Graymont..........you are truly blessed.
