Because last season was the opposite? We were on the road for UGA, UT, LSU, Arky, and Clemson in 2008. This season USCe was in our rotation, and we played at home. In the 2010 season we will play at whoever rotates in from the East.
Clemson wasn't a road game last year...I guess since you weren't there (again), you missed that.
Next year is an interesting schedule for Alabama. I'm not sure how I missed that you're playing Penn State. That's a good renewal of a little rivalry that used to be played pretty regularly. You played them 12 times between 1975 and 1990.
What's really nuts is that before 1975 Alabama played Penn State one time, in 1959. Joe Pa was in his
TENTH season as an assistant. Unfreaking believable.
So Kentucky rotates off, Florida rotates on, but you get them at home. And you're on the road at Duke, Arkansas, Tennessee, South Carolina, and LSU. That's a pretty tough schedule. If you're 12-0 next season you will certainly have earned it....assuming everyone (LSU, Arkansas, South Carolina, etc) is better than they are this year.
2011 will be tough too with road games to Florida, Penn State, and Auburn.
