May be due to the dropping of your worst score.

 If his lowest was this week, that means he got the points back from another week (which was his previous low). Could result in him still being in the lead...even though he now has a lower score on the dropped list, which in reality puts you closer to him than before, even if it doesn't show up in the standings.
