What?!? Charles Hollis picks Auburn to lose?
« on: October 09, 2009, 09:28:40 AM »
Who would have ever seen this coming?   :taunt:

Quote
AUBURN AT ARKANSAS

This is going to be fun. A track meet, with Gus Malzahn's explosive spread against Bobby Petrino's explosive dropback attack that will throw the best group of receivers the 2-point favored Tigers could see this season. Don't get caught up in how the Hogs rank last in the SEC in just about all things defense. Remember, they've played Georgia (2-1 SEC) and Alabama (2-0) in their first two league games, not Mississippi State (1-2) and Tennessee (0-2). Is Auburn's defense up for Ryan Mallett and Company? Is Arkansas' up for Chris Todd and all that Tiger firepower? We will find out about Auburn's defense this week.

Arkansas 38, Auburn 35

Thanks Charles!

This pretty much guarantees a blowout of the Hogs.

He is using the whole "blind-pig/acorn" method of picking games.  If he keeps picking AU to lose, he has to get it right eventually, doesn't he????

Stupid asshole.

I think Mrs.Hollis wears it on the nights she has to put out.

A national championship is a wonderful thing, but if you're not enough without it, you'll never be enough with it.

I like how Hollis uses the logic commonly found on the Volnation board last week.

How is this even allowed to be an argument....."we lost to two teams that were better than us, and you beat two teams that you are better than....therefore we'll beat you"?

Arkansas may win, but it won't be because they lost to Georgia and Alabama and Auburn beat MSU and Tennessee.

That's almost as dumb as Obama winning the Nobel Peace Prize 11 days into his presidency.  Almost.

I believe the politically correct term for this is " life partners".  That is what I was informed in Boston by a local at least.

Exactly.  Like how Jumbo calls his hobby inner-species erotica.

"Hey my friends are the ones that wanted to eat at that shitty hole in the wall that only served bread and wine.  What kind of brick and mud business model is that.  Stick to the cart if that's all you're going to serve.  Then that dude came in with like 12 other people, and some of them weren't even wearing shoes, and the restaurant sat them right across from us. It was gross, and they were all stinky and dirty.  Then dude starts talking about eating his body and drinking his blood...I almost lost it.  That's the last supper I'll ever have there, and I hope he dies a horrible death."

We've debunked every theory so far.  I guess Hollis will keep presenting new ones.
