Why does the over seem like a good bet?
It looks like easy money to me...if I were a betting man, that is.

Quote
Auburn was trailing and playing very ineffectively at home to West Virginia.  WVU was pulling away very steadily.  Then, all of the sudden, they got turnover-itis and coughed up the ball five times.  No, that's not a typo.  Even with those turnovers, Auburn only won by 11 and in the 4th quarter.  So, truth be told, Auburn should also be a 1 loss team.

Umm....no.  Unless you call going from 14 up in the first 10 minutes of the game to 1 up at halftime steadily pulling away, that is.

I'm pretty sure Bobby had some thoughts about Tubby's statement. :)

I've been saying for a while that IF Saban were to leave for anywhere at this point in his career, it would be to replace JoPa at PSU.

The only reason I don't them wanting him is stability.  They've had him on the sidelines in some role for 60 years (literally, 60 years....he became an assistant in 1950).

Saban, on the other hand, has been from Michigan State to LSU to Miami to Alabama in the last 10 years.  If he were to leave Alabama after a few years, I don't think they (Penn State) could find any reason to expect he would stick with them.  He's already one of the highest paid.  He's already at an all-time Top 10 program.  He's already worshiped.  He's already an ass (I know, not relevant, but I got carried away describing him and couldn't go any further without adding that).

Y'all are forgettin' bout Jer Jones and that itchy head coachin' trigger fanger he's got... Wade Phillips is a dead man walkin'... Might we see the Tubmeister on the sidelines in the Jones Maj Hal?

Problem for a Saban or a Tuberville ending up on the sidelines in Dallas is that John Gruden, Bill Cower, and Mike Shannahan are all available.

Of course, we're talking about Jeerry, so the next Dallas coach may just be Stan Parrish, that guy at Ball State with the 27 game winless streak.

pretty fair writeup I thought.  We will both know a lot more about ourselves by 3 p.m. Saturday.

"Hey my friends are the ones that wanted to eat at that shitty hole in the wall that only served bread and wine.  What kind of brick and mud business model is that.  Stick to the cart if that's all you're going to serve.  Then that dude came in with like 12 other people, and some of them weren't even wearing shoes, and the restaurant sat them right across from us. It was gross, and they were all stinky and dirty.  Then dude starts talking about eating his body and drinking his blood...I almost lost it.  That's the last supper I'll ever have there, and I hope he dies a horrible death."

Was that the part qualifying as "knowing more about ourselves"?

Great post, Biggus.
Dammit, Dirk. I was just trying to show that Arkansas had an idiot, too.

I think both teams will know more Saturday afternoon. You can say that about any team, any game.

Yeah, but Tubs and Jer go WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY back... we shall see.  I doubt it, but would not be surprised if it happened.

I ain't gonna predict the score. No way.
Most of yall know that Auburn is my second favorite team. I hope yall win every game but tomorrow.
I have followed your team closely. Yall probably haven't followed Arkansas as much as I have followed Auburn. I have followed both teams more than any other in the SEC or nationally.
I'm looking for this to be a helluva game.
Yall haven't played teams of the Alabama/Georgia caliber yet. We have and we lost both games. You will be our 3rd ranked SEC opponent. Tough schedule and it ain't over. We have improved even if the stats don't show it at this point in time. Yeah, Bama kicked our ass, but I could see things that we were doing that we needed to be doing. Bama just outclassed us. They have better players than us and it is hard to beat that.
Yall are a better team than you were last year and we are, too.
Yall can hang a half a hunnert on us, but don't doubt that we can do the same to yall. This game is just more important to us than is it to yall. One more victory and yall are bowl eligible. One more loss and we are sucking hind tit.
I look for a good game. A clean game, because I see no hatred between our staffs. I also look for a Hog victory no matter how small the margin.
