I read the article and am still confused with what he was trying to express.

But in Vanderbilt's offense, Torbush sees the same goals, Score TD's..Check the same versatile athletes QB, WR's check...check and the same run-oriented approach they have a RB...check that can cause his players problems.

That part I got.  The part that was confusing was him saying the pace screwed them up and every team they play will do this to them.
