Ah time for some Chuck norris facts.  The Democratic parties ass cheeks just got lifted from their desks, not from an earthquake, but from Chuck Norris Taking a 10 ton statue of the Ten Commandments and slamming it down on the ground.

Speaking of the Ten Comandments - Dear LORD, that nutcase is still around?  I appreciate him as a judge and all, but that is NOT what AL needs as a governor.

Five statements of WISDOM
1. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity, by legislating the wealth out of prosperity.
2. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.
3. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.
4. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.
5. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friends, is the beginning of the end of any nation.

The pool of candidates is incredibly lacking thus far. Either this guy Moore or Artur "Lil' Obama" Davis. We're fucked.

Agreed. Who is running on the "Sin to Win" ticket?

All joking aside, we really do need an education lottery or casino gambling (not dog track bullshit slots). I wouldn't still be paying off 30 grand in student loans if we had voted for it back in '99.

I blame Andrew Jackson. If he hadn't run off all our Indians here in north Alabama, I wouldn't have to drive all the way to Mississippi to gamble.

I would have vote yes when Don Siegelman was pushing for it so hard, but I got to read the wording of the bill an it sucked balls.  It had no structure as to how the state would really allocate the money.  That is the only reason I vote no.  I am not voting for those motherfuckers to have funds like that w/o the bill being structured in a way where I have some confidence that our legislators don't fuck it all up.

The guy with his name on all the gas pumps? How does this guy go from inspecting gas pumps to being a legit candidate for governor?

Well...his name is out there.  He had to make a big splash to get any attention, so running on the lottery ticket seemed to work for him for at least the first 8 hours after his presser.

We do not need a lottery.

#1 Reason,  I hate waiting in line to buy beer while people are getting lottery tickets, they should have a separate line for lottery tickets.

I like Casinos,  If you need a local fix visit one othe Charity Bingos of Walker County, Before the judge finally shuts them down.

In Columbus, GA this is indeed the case. Separate lines for lottery and gas/grocery.

Others say that it is higher education funded on the backs of the poor, but doesn't every single one of us pay taxes that give unwed mothers with 16 kids and a gold grill food stamps, welfare and WIC?

Shouldn't it be our time to finally get something back from them? If you really think about it, it is just essentially giving us our own money back.

The gaspump clown wont get my vote, but I'm looking for a legit candidate that is willing to at least make it an issue with legitimate instructions for directing lottery or gambling funds into the various education channels.
