I think LaTech Kentucky and possibly Tennessee.
MSU and Ball State, you've got a point.
Kentucky isn't the Kentucky you remember, Prowler. Keep looking ahead and they'll bitch slap us.
Tennesee? They've got a ton of talented recruits. Kiffin whipped Chizik and Co. like little bitches in recruiting this year. They're quietly piling up talent now while everybody spooges over Saban and Meyer.
Kiffin may be a doofus but haven't you preached incessantly that it doesn't matter who the head coach is, it's the assistants that tell the tale? Saban, Meyer, Richt, Paterno, Osborne, Dye, Bryant, Bowden (sr.), Hayes, Schembechler, Dooley, Johnson, Switzer, Royal and about three dozen others laugh in your face at that supposition, but let's presume there's some validity there for the moment... Tennessee's assistant coaches stack up with anybody in the SEC. Kiffin has a hot, hot, hot wife and has assembled a quality coaching staff. Eddie Gran knows what to do with RBs and the UT rushing game will show significant -- major -- improvement. Enough to keep the pressure off their QB and allow him to grow into the role.
I hate Tennessee, but you're about as wrong as you can be -- which, Prowler, is pretty dingdang wrong -- about the Vols.
The two teams that have the potential to surprise this season and come out of nowhere like Ole Miss did? Tennessee and Arkansas.
