Chizik said offensive lineman Aubrey Phillips suffered a non-football related medical episode and is out. Chizik said Phillips would be re-evaulated. Chizik did not reveal what happened to the transfer from Florida State.

 
Florida State coaches said Phillips was overweight during summer workouts in Tallahassee, though he said Thursday he was in shape and practice was not a problem.

I hope it isn't anything too serious, and I wish him the best, but it looks like the coaches at FSU may have been right about him having some sort of issue.

I heard he suffered a rare Tsetse fly bite and contracted African Sleeping Sickness.  They noticed something was wrong when on the snap of the ball in practice all he'd do is fall over snoring.

About him being overweight?  No.  I mean, he came in overweight at FSU, but he lost those extra pounds that they wanted him to lose.  About him not being in condition?  I haven't heard if that was one of the reasons as to why his time at FSU was harder than others, but if that's what they were saying then that's a possibility.  I'm hearing a possible heat stroke, possibly caused by low blood sugar and that him losing the extra weight could've caused that...?  I don't really know, but we should hear something pretty soon.  Whatever the case is, I'll be throwing him a little prayer.
