Saw it in the theater six times in two weeks when it first came out. Can still get worked up thinking about that volleyball scene. And the blue light filtered sex scene... that alone can do it for me... Holy shit they were some hot motherfuckers... Val Kilmer, Tom Cruise, Rick Rossovich... even Tom Skerritt and Michael Ironside were hot in that movie. A teenaged girl's fantasy movie come to life... and it still works on an old broad today!

Just an observation here. Tom Cruise is 5'8"...5'9" at most. Have you ever noticed that the bald headed Admiral, or whatever the fuck he is....comes up to Cruise's teets? A dwarf Admiral.

Tom Cruise is 5'7" on a GOOD day - Anthony Edwards is considerably taller - but in the movie Cruise is nearly past his shoulder - ergo Cruise was on a box - hence the unnatural camera angle. Also note that in pictures, Katie (and back in the day, Nicole) are always just in front of him on the red carpet, at an angle... to make him look taller.

He may be a cultjoining, psychotic leprechaun, but damn, he is hot... **sigh**

Wrong. I never raved about Brokeback. Those guys were not hot enough to make me want to watch them having butt sex. There are maybe a few actors that are hot enough to make me watch that - but not many - and those two are not on the list...

No - the point is that if the guy is hot enough, you could watch him doing damn near anything and still think he is hot. Reading the newspaper, sleeping, butt sex, whatever... if he is hot, just looking at him is enough for me. The rest is just background noise...
