Who put on this "Training seminar" to teach you how to be more sensitive? Someone outside the company? Have you had problems before? If not, it's just the higher ups covering their ass from liability in case anything happens.

Well in the last year we have had three accusations of discrimination after people have been fired. Two for race and one for national origin. All three I have had all background paperwork that exonerated the company outright and showed the only pattern was these people's inability to follow the rules.

So yes this has been on the mind of the owners to have all managers be exposed to this from our labor lawyer.

My mentor out of law school, was an old gray headed lawyer, and my first day in he calls me in the office, and the first thing he said after the preliminary pleasantries: "Don't stick your dick in the help."

I've heard about his insanely sensitive persona. I feel it's a must that I witness this first hand this summer one fine afternoon at oohh...saaayy..Bluepoint...after a few sensitive drafts of 420.
