AU Basketball Cursed...WTF
« on: December 29, 2007, 09:14:59 PM »
Fucking Hell...

Korvotney Barber is out 4-6 weeks with a broken hand. How in the hell can one team be so cursed?

Go blow yourself if you'd like a link.

Well shit.  That does blow.

But I AM glad to see that someone else around here follows college basketball besides me.

Now where's the fucking link?!

Come on now, I keep up with Auburn Basketball.  What did Tommy Joe Eagles have to say about the injury?  Who's he gonna replace him with?

This is all I know about it for now (see the last two sentences):

Perhaps Aubie16 has a different source?

Yeah...sorry I was just pretty pissed when I heard the news. It seems that we have anything go our way. I thought we might have a decent shot of making the tourney this year...but now that we are down to 6 scholarship players (don't have Dollard, Miaway, Barber, or Sylla).

Anyways, he has a broken hand and it now looks like he'll be out the full 6 weeks.

I've gotten spoiled supporting my Tarheels (being a North Carolinian of course college hoops are all important; except for Nascar) but Auburn basketball is a real favorite of mine because of Lebo; he is working on a good potential program but setbacks like this certainly don't help.

He should have went ahead and removed the wheels from his double wide trailer. He'd still be with us today.

That had to be one of Sonny's best lines. For the hog fans and others that may not be familiar with it, Sonny was once asked what he thought of the contract Pat Dye received (and his big house). Sonny replied, "All they gave me was a doublewide trailer and told me not to remove the wheels."
