I recall something similar being said when you guys were getting your dicks hard over "Franklinstein's" offense. Most specifically, I remember when I said something negative about Franklin's offense after the last A-Day, you mentioned how it was going to be really funny when that offense shoved the ball down our throats in the Iron Bowl and scored a shit load of points on us. How did that work out for you guys?

I'm supposed to be worried about AU's new offense scoring on a patched up defense of freshmen, walk-ons, and no-names because of injuries? Shit, at least we play our 1st offense vs. our 1st defense. I'm supposed to be scared because your defense can manage to leave cavernous holes up the middle for a HB to run 70 yards untouched? I'm supposed to be scared because multiple guys on your defense can only attempt to arm tackle a HB? Hardly. Show me some offense in some real non-scrub games, and we'll talk.

I don't think so Jumbo.  i don't think AU will be no better than 6-6 and the only reason why they'll be 6-6 will be because of the assistants that Coach Chizik put together.  Coach Chizik is absolutely horrible and he'll never be able to take Auburn were I want them to be.

If you think Chizik is absolutely horrible and we're going to lose because of his doings, yet you believe he put together an exceptional staff who will win games despite him, then you don't know how college football operates.

A head coach is a face, a spokesman, and a CEO that hires and fires compartmental coaches. Nothing more.

That's the problem.  Despite these claims of people being all up on Chizik's jock, the fact is that most have accepted that he is the coach and he will be on the sidelines this Fall.  There's not ONE soul on this board that pulled for the search committee to hire Gene Chizik.  Not ONE that said "Hell yeah" when they announced the hire.
But again, most have accepted he is our guy and are looking at this thing realistically.  I'd much rather look ahead to the 09' season focusing on the good shit that Chizik and this staff have done.  He just may fall flat on his face.  But until he does, why do everything but openly pull for failure?

Well, it's clear that W.P. was invited here by one of them.  You have to search to find this type of person, and those are just the two that would do it.

It's cool with me surprisingly.  It's not the message or the fact that someone has this opinion, it's the delivery.  If he can express his opinion without hijacking every thread, cool.  ...and if he can do it without calling anyone with a positive, or at least neutrel position a "chizdick sucking loon", then cool.
