No Irish Need Apply
« on: March 17, 2009, 11:49:35 PM »
Apparently if you're lucky enough to be of Irish ancestry (and you "thank" The ONE after your team wins the Super Bowl {http://tigersx.net/forum/index.php?topic=4653.0}) you too can get a cushy, Ambassadorial job!

And, The ONE, boldly announced today that he's ALSO Irish!

This is an excerpt from Townhall.com, all emphasis is my own:

Obama lauds Irish, US ties
By PHILIP ELLIOTT
Tuesday, March 17, 2009

Call him Barack O'Bama.

As White House fountains ran green for St. Patrick's Day, the president saluted strong U.S.-Irish ties in a warm welcome for Ireland's leaders and turned to a critical campaign backer, Pittsburgh Steelers owner Dan Rooney, to fill the post of U.S. ambassador to Ireland.

And in a wee bit of blarney, Obama boasted of Irish ancestry.

While I know you hate mosst of the decisions Jacobs makes, at least he continues to run a PROFITABLE enterprise.  The Obama has already lost us 1.5 trillion dollars in his time as leader

Sometimes those damn facts get in the way.

Bullshit.

Auburn athletics was profitable before Jacobs got there.  He hasn't done anything except keep it from going in the toilet in his first three years.

Pat Dye made Auburn athletics profitable.  David Housel continued his work and had Auburn athletic in the best financial shape in the school's history.

You can't give Jacobs any credit for that.  He walked into a situation where he didn't have to do ANYTHING but stay out of the way.  But the idiot fuck couldn't do that, could he?

No. He fumbled and farted David Marsh out of Auburn with his mismanagement and incompetence.  He allowed the baseball program to sink into utter irrelevance by his inaction. He bungled Will Muschamp's contract and then acted like such an ass that he drove him out of Auburn. He showed arguably the second-best football coach in Auburn history the door for reasons unknown.  He's a self-important prick who makes Auburn look stupid by association.

Now that he's hired a buffoon for a football coach, now that the reaction to that hire (combined with the economy) has caused donations to shrink we'll see.  When Chizik's monkey ass drives the football program into an iceberg we'll see how good that pretentious fuck is at maintaining profitability.

There are some facts for you.

Is this great-great-great grandfather was sort of like the Uncle that a part of the liberation of  Auschwitz and it is all a lie?

A sad day for those of us who are Irish :(  (My great grandparents were "LEGAL" Irish immigrants, I have always been proud of their story)

Since he is part Irish, does this take away from him being the "first black president"?

I've heard it said time and again that Bubba Clinton was the first black president.

However, I think that The ONE truly IS the first mixed-race president (or is that too racist to say?).

Doubt it.  I just had to answer a question on a Red Cross questionnaire that asked "what race do you consider yourself?"

Not "what race are you?"

but "what race do you consider yourself?"

I was pissed so I marked American Indian since I am a pretty good shot with a bow.  I should have signed my name "Two Dogs Fucking"

"Hey my friends are the ones that wanted to eat at that shitty hole in the wall that only served bread and wine.  What kind of brick and mud business model is that.  Stick to the cart if that's all you're going to serve.  Then that dude came in with like 12 other people, and some of them weren't even wearing shoes, and the restaurant sat them right across from us. It was gross, and they were all stinky and dirty.  Then dude starts talking about eating his body and drinking his blood...I almost lost it.  That's the last supper I'll ever have there, and I hope he dies a horrible death."

Five statements of WISDOM
1. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity, by legislating the wealth out of prosperity.
2. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.
3. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.
4. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.
5. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friends, is the beginning of the end of any nation.
