I read this editorial earlier today on a Tarheel site called "FireCoachK.com" and I thought about my dook friends on this board (Harvey Birdman and Aubie16) and how much they'd appreciate reading this too.

We would like to commend the master motivator and strategic genius Coach K on limiting UNC to 101 points tonight, proving that dook's defense is indeed tougher than that of UNC-Asheville (which allowed 116 points to the Tar Heels), Chaminade (115 points), and the College of Charleston (108 points), each of which displayed a clear lack of flopping and floor-slapping.

However, the Blue Devils' much-ballyhooed defense is evidently not quite as good as that of Oral Roberts (which held UNC to 100 points), Evansville (91 points) or Valpo (85 points). In fairness, though, none of those teams are burdened by starting Greg Paulus, who tonight played the role of Rihanna to Ty Lawson's Chris Brown.

Further diminishing what used to be a decent rivalry, tonight's 101-87 win (yawn) is UNC's fifth in the past six meetings, and the fourth straight time that Tyler Hansbrough and Danny Green have walked out of that quaint little gym in Derm with a victory. Something must be done to get this rivalry back on track -- which is why we put it to you, Kevin White, to shitcan Coach K today ... which happens to be Day 1776 in dook's Final Four drought. That's right, 1776. What better time to declare your independence from this evil tyrant?

I try to speak calmly and rationally about the rivalry, breaking down the strategies and different nuances of each respective program. However;

Don't hate! I didn't write that commentary. But I thought it was funny as hell.

I keed, I actually like the Tourney, outside of football, it is my second favorite sporting event to watch. I have a hard time getting into the regualr season, something about a mango and a bucket gets me.

Yeah, I knew you were keeding; we'll have to setup another Tigers X bracket tournament for the tournament...I think Thrilla took point on that last season.

You should've come up for the First Annual TigersX Basketball Outing, BK. Much of it is a blur for me but I think a good time was had by all.

Just don't let Sani get you in the sleeper hold.
