Statement from University of Florida Athletic Director Jeremy Foley:

“There was no rule violation and we have confirmed this with Southeastern Conference. It is obvious that Coach Kiffin doesn’t know that there is not a rule precluding phone contact with a prospect during an official visit on another campus during a contact period. His allegations are inappropriate, out of line and, most importantly, totally false. It is completely unfair to Urban Meyer, our coaching staff, our football program and our institution. The appropriate action at this time in my opinion is for Coach Kiffin to make a public apology. His comments not only slandered our coach, but he violated SEC rules by publicly criticizing another coach and institution.”

Maybe the rules need to be amended. When the rules were put into place, every kid did not have a cell phone. I think it's like calling a chick you like, while she is on a date wit another guy. Not against the rules, but pretty brash. It could start a trend where staffs make sure they call that player while at another school.

But, yeah, Kiffen's getting an ass whooping this season.

Kiffen is becoming an asshole to Rival even the likes of Nick Saban. Fitting, I suppose that the turds get a taste of their own medicine with their biggest rival outside of us.

Something that I found amusing is that they made the bold statement that UT would own Memphis in recruiting. Alabama just landed a 2010 WR commitment.....from Memphis.  :thumbsup: Whether that will stick or not, I don't know. Its still funny as hell to me. The commit is Keiwone Malone and he has offers from AU, Duke, UT, and UA. Not only was Kiffin totally wrong about the NCAA rule and now has to dislodge the foot from his mouth, Alabama just gave them a big fuck you as well.

P.S. this kid had 13 receptions for 358 receiving yards with three touchdowns in one playoff game.
