According to MS outlets reporting on the Alabama recruitment of Pat Patterson....

"The visit went great," added Gloria Patterson, Pat's mother. "They have a lot to offer. Alabama has a pretty good Architect program, and that is one of the majors that Pat is looking at. We are looking for a good architect or business program and a staff we trust to leave our son with. The Alabama coaches were also real nice. Overall, they have a very nice school over there."

Just another question for our resident bama faithful once they ever decide to return. Maybe that's where scissors has been. He's ditched the dream of a 30K retirement fund and kicked up an engi-nerd program at the Crapstone.

In that same article, did it or did it not say something about uat's going to run the Spread. I'm guessing that's how little nicky does things.....To the QBs and WRs, "We're gonna run a version of the Spread mixed in with the A-11 style offense." To the RBs, OL, and TEs, "We're gonna line up in the Power I with three TEs and run it between the tackles....and don't worry that an All-American is in your starting position, because everyone will play atleast 50-60 snaps a game." To the Defensive players, "We're going to run the 3-4/4-3/4-4/3-3-5/2-4-5/4-2-5 Type of Defenses....wait you said that you'd like play in a 3-3-5? Yeah, we're going to run that style of Defense at least 99% of the time."

Heck, I don't even think the engineering school at UAH has an architecture program. I don't recall ever seeing anything about it if we do.

Maybe he meant financial architecture, where he will be building up the money that the REC gives him.

i have been at the Imperial Palace in Biloxi Thursday-Sunday morning with my fiancee for her birthday, if you must know. she very well could have been talking about an engineering degree, who knows. its some kid's mother for crying out loud. its amazing the things you guys try to spin.

i don't think anybody exactly knows just what style of offense we will have in 09. according to McElwain, he will tailor it to whatever our strengths are. he wasn't known to be a run-first type guy at Fresno St, but they didn't have the OL or RBs that we have either. i think we will throw the ball more in 09 due to some OL talent leaving, but it should be a pretty good mix. McElwain is a pretty good QB coach imo, did wonders with JPW. i just think with all of the Tony Franklin shit anytime you guys hear "spread" thats automatically what you think of. i love how you automatically assume that CNS lies to every recruit. yeah, thats why we constantly bring in the blue chippers. because CNS has a track record of lying to the recruits and they respect him so much for it.

no. however, there is a Construction Engineering program at UA. again, this is some kid's mom talking about it so there is a chance she doesn't exactly know the exact name. i mean hell, you don't even know how to spell Architectural correctly, so my explanation isn't all that hard to fathom. except for the simple fact that you want something to be the smoking gun that UA is putting kids into false classes or something and to show that some kid's mother is stupid i guess? other than that, i'm not sure what your point is other than some kid's mother doesn't know the exact course name for something.

My guess she is only repeating the same thing she has heard her son talk about when it comes to the degree he is interested in. I would think she would not be using a word like architecture unless she has heard her son used it quite often when telling his parents and others what degree he is interested in.

actually, i was asking if thats what he was trying to imply, hence the question mark. apparently i was unclear. why is it my fiancee calls a pike pole that pokey ceiling thing? why is it she calls my Glock my "Gock or whatever"? why is it my mother mangles any attempt at modern slang she hears people use? why is it my great grandmother calls the internet "the computer thing"? why is it my son calls my GPS "daddy's car game"?
