To assume that he CAN'T get a job because he either didn't get or didn't take the one job he interviewed for is an absurd logical leap. It's not supportable.

Obviously Gran doesn't need a job because his buddy, Tommy, hooked him up with a sweet state pension. He can afford to be choosy and turn down plum jobs like Tennessee.

To assume tht Gran turned down the UT Job is an absurd ILLOGICAL leap. Please inform us when someone else comes knocking down his door. He may have been a good coach for us and Ole Miss but it seems as though he is short on opportunities now. Maybe the economy is holding him back?

Eddie Gran sucks!

As a special teams coach. I wish they would have found another guy that didn't coach the one thin AU is know for (RBs), to coach special teams. That had to be one Tubs dumbest decisions. UNLESS. the rest of the coaches were so bad they couldn't do better.

Gran was a good RB coach. Unfortunately he gets lumped in with the rest of the bunch. That makes his stock go down a bit too. It's just the nature of the business. I am glad that the house was cleaned on that side of the ball. Hate it for Gran, but we needed it.

Not sure if other schools will come calling or if he just wants to stay close. I bet Coach Rose has already talked to him.....
