versus George Washington tomorrow

I see that we're playing George Washington tomorrow at 1:00 cst.  Unfortunately I can't make the game but maybe I can convince my local sports bar to try and find it somewhere on cable, satellite, or other means.  Since I won't be able to get online either I hope you locals try to see it; I remain guardedly optimistic as usual.

I also see that Auburn All American Sir Charles Barkley will be inducted into the National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame on Sunday.  Long overdue in my opinion; having personally met him (along with Saniflush on one occasion) I think he's a stand up guy (regardless of his support of The Obama).

Anyway, WAR EAGLE!  Let's beat them Colonials!     (A little pep rally.)

With all due respect, I have no idea who George Washington, Alexander Hamilton, Marquis DeSade or Marie Antionette are in terms of basketball.  I was merely feeling soul achy and I think Jay Jacobs is a tool of the first order. The first.

Yes, I'm looking for some consolation here, but Mercer lost in overtime to Georgia Tech yesterday.  I watched the first 10 minutes or so of that game and Mercer was up about 19-7 when I turned it off.

I think that Saniflush set the tone with guarded optimism.  I need something to console me after this rotten political season.

Glad to see that we won another one anyway...on to playing BETHUNE-COOKMAN tomorrow...whoever the fuck they are!
