With everything going on, and the first debate looming this week, it dawned on me at lunch today.  Trump ain't winning this thing.

Ain't happenin', no way, no howz!

My doctor told me I needed to stop masturbating.  I asked him why, and he said, "because I'm trying to examine you."

Question remains the same but has now flipped.

What would it take, Wes, to acknowledge that Biden is little more than a potato?  What would it take to admit that he is not capable of doing this job.  Over a week of prep, sequestered from the public and that shambling, rambling, mumbling stooge is the BEST they could do?

What would it take?

Yes, he's old.  Too old for the job.  Frankly, they both are.

That said, fascist authoritarianism isn't my bag, so the Rs are not getting my votes.

I get it.  You are more liberal than most around here.  I myself have some libertarian leanings.

However, hyperbolic rhetoric doesn’t win hearts and minds.

Same goes for K’s rambling meanderings.

You keep saying this, but the democrats are the ones literally practicing it, Wes.  How is that irony lost on you?

LESS government is NOT fascist or authoritarian by any stretch of anyone's imagination.  You've ascribed certain traits to a person whose actions don't back up the brand.

when I take those political tests, it always comes up Libertarian. And I think that is what Trump is, at heart.

I don’t plan to ever vote third party, again. I wasted my votes on Perot. I consider going with “the lesser of two evils” theory as viable for any number of things. It’s realistic in life and it can contribute to making things better than the would be without it.

This is certainly not a lesser of two evils situation. This is a damn good president versus a turnip.

Why is Trump too old? With age comes wisdom. As long as an old person has a highly functioning brain, shouldn’t they be even more qualified for a job that needs more thinking than physical prowess?
As Trump has stated many times, have the candidates take a test to determine their ability to process information.

I had a great grandmother that could discuss anything and show reason in all situations at the age of 99. She was slow moving, but very sharp.

Just because Biden sucks and can’t mentally function, does not mean both candidates are too old. That’s all we are hearing after the debate, “They both suck/too old”.
Convenient position when it’s really only your guy that can’t function.

Five statements of WISDOM
1. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity, by legislating the wealth out of prosperity.
2. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.
3. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.
4. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.
5. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friends, is the beginning of the end of any nation.

Trump flies by the seat of his pants. He might have a hint of pragmatism in him but he's probably best at grabbing another's idea and applying it, making it his own.
We know his background in politics and I don't see enough discipline in him to be a Libertarian.
I'm definitely in favor of Trump being President again hopefully without a pandemic to which he felt compelled to place his trust in someone like Fauci.
