So far, no real production on either side of the ball for Aubren has jumped in the port hole.  There will probably be a few surprises, but let's face it, this is not a very talented team overall. As I stated in another thread, a huge portion of real contributors this season came from Group of 5 transfers. They're most likely going to have to go that route again to stop the bleeding, but I don't imagine it will be nearly to the extent as last season.

Most good productive players are not going to leave a major p5 program unless there is just personal beef with the coach (Nix) or the team sucks badly with no good on the horizon (Vandy, MSU).

G5 or lower P5 is totally different though (Leonard). Lot of guys raise their stock and want to be a big fish in a big pond - Johni Broome is one that comes to mind in BB.

So I don't expect many major contributors to leave too many big name schools. Not sure what Dylan Gabriel's deal is though.

There have been no takers, so far. I am not sure that my name showed up in the portal. I would expect a lot of interest from aufamily and the boards associated with 247, on3, rivals, etc. Scout, if they are still around.

If Snags and Token enter the portal, I will stay. I don’t want to make this into an effort to run them off, although this place would be much, much better. Please don’t send them nasty PMs.

I doubt they will have any takers if they do enter. I should have a lot of offers coming soon. I am pretty sure.

Not that he would have been a fit, but Max Johnson just landed at Nawth Carolina.  The guy has thrown for almost 6,000 yards in his career, with 47 TD and 12 INT's. You could do worse at the signal calling position.

That TD to INT ratio is too strong for our liking.  Why have an interception thrown every 4 TDs when we can ride with what we have and only have an interception thrown for every 2 TDs?....

Agree. When we think of the outstanding receivers coming onboard it's not foolish to think we can be a little choosier in the portal with the QB(s) we add.
Also see where we are getting some help up front where some of the more physically mature might help us early.

Two of the most recent big-name players to enter the portal were Oklahoma quarterback Dillon Gabriel and Ohio State quarterback Kyle McCord.

McCord threw for 3,170 yards and 24 touchdowns this season but isn't much of a rushing threat.

Gabriel threw for 3,660 yards and 30 touchdowns this season and also ran for 373 yards plus 12 touchdowns on the ground.
