The best week(end) in college football is upon us. It’s rivalry week, with games starting tonight, including a buttload on Friday. With a lot of games on tap, I might forego breaking down Ohio at Akron, or Florida Atlantic at Rice, and get to the juicy match ups.
Ole Miss @ Mississippi State: The Rebel Black Bears and the Bulldogs get the real party started on Thursday night. Anyone realize that Ole Miss is going for a 10-2 season with a win in The Egg Bowl? They’re 10.5 point favorites, and I don’t see any way they don’t cover. MSU is really bad. Hobby Lobby!
Ole Miss: 42
Miss. State: 21
Texas A&M @ LSU: The Aggies come into Baton Rude without the Greasy Car Salesman. The Bengal Tiggers are giving 11.5 in this one. That’s a ton, considering the LSU defense is horrible. However, I think Jayden Daniels makes a final Heisman push and shows out, putting The Bonfire Boys out of their misery.
LSU: 38
Texas A&M: 20
THE Ohio State University @ Michigan: A shit ton of story lines in this one, starting with no James Hardball on the sidelines, and both teams undefeated and currently in the top 4. Most of the season, the Buckeyes have slopped around for 3 quarters, and found a way to pull away by game’s end. The Fighting Red Dawns have methodically pounded everybody, like WT on Viagra at a gay orgy. I believe the pounding continues.
Michigan: 28
tOSU: 17
Alabama @ Auburn: Had Auburn even played well enough to eek one out last weekend, we’d all say they were looking forward to Bama, and now we’re riding a 4 game streak into the Iron Bowl and….maybe….. But No! The debacle took the shine right off the Iron, and most expect anal rapeage come 2:30 this Saturday. Unfortunately, the Tahd looks to be playing as well as anybody in the country, and they need all the style points they can get to try and jump over some teams into the playoffs. I expect Coach Bonaparte to put the foot on the gas and never let up. Obviously, this Auburn club is not as putrid as what we just saw, and I’m really anxious to see if Freeze and Co. have what it takes to motivate this bunch to at least be competitive. I think they will be….for a while.
Alabama: 41
Auburn: 17
