My daughter has been in Vegas for probably 6-7 years now.  Been in a long running show at Planet Hollywood since she's been out there.  Mom went to see it.

Out of respect, I was trying to avoid touching this topic.  Thank you for jumping on that grenade for the rest of us.

My doctor told me I needed to stop masturbating.  I asked him why, and he said, "because I'm trying to examine you."

When I go to a Las Vegas show, all I can do it sit there and go, "Wow, look at the tits.  There must be.....57 tits up there."

My daughter has been in Vegas for probably 6-7 years now.  Been in a long running show at Planet Hollywood since she's been out there.  Mom went to see it.  Dad can't.  I'm sure it's tastefully done.  The good thing is, she has access to tickets and back stage passes etc. for a lot of concerts and shows.

A couple of years ago, we arranged it where Snagette flew out there for her birthday.  Snags had to stay home with the kid and the dogs.  She didn't know what my daughter had in store for her.  She called me from the venue screaming, "Do you know where I am? I'm back stage at the Aerosmith concert, eating sushi and drinking margaritas.  Steven Tyler and the whole band have been in and out of here several times."

She watched the concert just off stage.

Did I mention I stayed home and kept the dogs?
I saw an interview with Stephen Tyler in which he admitted that the backstage at an Aerosmith concert was like porno movie fuck fest. He said he and Joe Perry regularly run trains on cougar MILFs.

He mentioned that they batted a thousand in Vegas.

Where was the show that your wife went to?

Saw Drivin' and Cryin' in Auburn my freshman year.

No Jupiter Coyote?

Did you see them at the Supper Club?
I may have been there!

So suck it honeysuckle blue! You my boy!

My son went to high school with the bass player’s son. And D&C play the Woodstock amphitheater. So there’s that.

Five statements of WISDOM
1. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity, by legislating the wealth out of prosperity.
2. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.
3. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.
4. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.
5. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friends, is the beginning of the end of any nation.

Jarhead is not antique. D&C has been at it a very long time. He saw them 25 years after you would have. He didn’t go to API.

Neato fact that I pinched from a book faces article, then confirmed through the wiki's, so it must be true.  I had never heard this about Mr. Cornelius Crane Chase.  And it ties back into one of my concert regrets, not ever having seen Steely Dan.

Actor #ChevyChase played drums in Bard college for a band called The Leather Canary. He left the band after a couple of months because he didn't think anything would come of it. Two band members and classmates went on to evolve into #SteelyDan. Those two men are none other than Walter Becker and Donald Fagen.
”Don sort of looked like a crow most of the time,” says Chevy Chase. ”He’d walk around with this beak of a nose and he always wore black clothing and looked down with his hands in his pockets. People thought he was kind of weird and quiet. They didn’t realize that he was really intelligent, a very funny, bright guy.”

The girls don't seem to care tonight, as long as the mood is right.  No static at all.

I slipped "FM" in at my wedding reception.  My bride noticed.

Kick off your high heel sneakers, it's party time.

I had tix to see Steely Dan and Doobie Brothers a few years ago.  I still remember the date, May 19.  I remembered it because of Hey 19.  Anyway, my daughter calls and is making a surprise visit from Vegas, and she wants to go to the beach for a few days. But...but....but....the concert.  All it took was one quick side eye from Snagette, and those tix were in the hands of someone other than me.

Luckily, I had seen teh Doobs, pre-Michael McDonald, in Atlanta.  But SD?  I have watched hours upon hours of videos, (Some that weren't porn, too) but never got to see them live.

I guess I just blocked this out, but the biggest concert regret ever is Bon Jovi.

I bought tickets for my then-wife for Bon Jovi show on Valentine's Day in Birmingham. This would have been the New Jersey tour, at the height of their big-haired dominance.  One of her favorite bands. We were broke back then and it was a struggle to get them. Couldn't order on the non-existent Internet back then.  Was one of those line up at Parisians in the middle of the night things to be in line and just hope they weren't sold out by the time you got to the counter.

The wreck that killed her happened two weeks prior.  When I finally got out of the hospital months later, they gave me back my wallet and those blood-soaked tickets were still in there.  I kept them for 20 years at least.

I have no desire now to see Jovi and never will.  But I wish we'd seen them then.
