So, I see a click bait headline on the social interwebz published by si.com. It says "College Football Influencer Predicts Auburn To Go 3-9."
Now, let me get right to the point. If we are going to even entertain the thought of calling people "Influencers" in the college game, we have officially jumped the shark.
But, they got me. I had to click and see how in the hell anybody could predict 3-9 for this team, much less an "Influencer". Yeah, my initial impressions were correct. I've heard the term, Influencer before, but it was usually associated with Dylan Mulvaney. Pretty sure that freak predicted this. IT'S reasons:
There will be lots of injuries.
The offensive line won't gel
Payton Thorne will be awful
The defense can't stop the run
Running back by committee won't work
Special teams will be a "disaster"
There were others, but it quickly got to where the amount of stoopid was making my eyes bleed. Let's just say, from this point forward, I will skull fuck the next person who says, College Football Influencer, rip their head off, and pour a Bud Light down their neck.
