This is arguably the most pathetic game Auburn has played since the end of the Dye regime. I remember a very horrible La-Tech team talking shit after a close loss to the Tigers saying, "the better team did not win this game" and he was right.

This shit against a D-II opponent is eerily similar, even worse, than that. I think it's painfully apparent that we are just not good at all. Auburn hasn't won a game since Franklin was fired, and may not win another this year.

America voted for change this past Tuesday. I think it's time Auburn made its own change.

Sounded like Caudle did a pretty good job on the last drive. Sloppy win, but the streak is over. If we can sacrifice a goat or something to pull out a win in one of the last two games, we'll finish .500

I am glad that Burns had a good day rushing, but I am not sure I am happy with the fact our QB was our leading rusher. His passing stats did look better this week, so maybe both parts of his game will eventually come together to make him a true threat back there.

That said, I am not looking forward to next week. Our defense seems to be struggling. Good thing they did not play like that during those first few games of the season or today might have been our first or second win of the season.

I think we'd all pick that one. Right now, I think either one will be able to name the score. It pains me to say it, but unless one of them comes into the game terribly overconfident and plays as such, our chances in either are about the same as Craig becoming a Pulitzer Prize winning writer.

Hey, you never know. I did get an "A" on every paper I have written since my return to academia. Of course, all of those were at Calhoun and I have not written one yet since I have been at UAH. So yeah, I would not take you up on that bet.

Speaking of wagers Glenn, how about one on the Army/Navy game this year. I have a feeling the streak ends this year for you stinkin' swabbies.

Name it. The Goats will make it 7 in a row this year with relative ease.

Be careful saying the word "goats". You know how that gets Steve all excited.

I'll have to think of something. Buy you a bottle of your favorite liquor or box of cigars. Or we can go with something simpler like the loser has to wear the a shirt of this year's winner, take a pic of it, and then post it on the board.

Do you own a Navy shirt, or do I have to send one to you.

It would probably be easier to make this an avatar/signature bet. Loser has to use the winners image as an avatar for 3 months, PLUS have something proclaiming how awesome the winning service is as their signature. No hiding for 3 months either.

This will be yours. Learn to love it.

When I attended a Navy/Vandy game at Annapolis a few years ago, I actually was given a "Go Navy, Beat Army" hat by an Admiral when my wife's uncle told him I was an Army veteran. I think it is around here somewhere.

Your idea sounds better though. I'll have to find an appropriate image for you to use when the Black Knights destroy the Middies.
