There are some things I miss about being the military. There were times that I really felt like I was making a contribution for our country.  Taken in the mid 80's pulling border patrol along the East/West Germany.  The dogs in the background were only fed every three days as to keep them lean for folks who tired to escape from the east.

Ahhhhh, the desert camo with the mixed in with the old green style camo.

While in Germany we would be out in the field, about 6 to 10 inches of snow, but we put up green camo nets.   

Some things that make go mmmmmmhhhhh?   Those things I don't miss.

I always felt obligated to take care of the women that you men left behind on the beach at Panama City.
