Fragile as Tiffany glass.
And that is exactly why I point and laugh at all the guaranteed money the fish are doling out to him.  He may be very good (that point is still up for debate, right Mac Jones?) but I seriously doubt he makes it through a full season in the land of Pitbull.

Replied with facts which, just like yours, were cherry-picked from the stats history. This by far the weirdest take hill you've died on this board for. Dinging a QB for YAC is seriously short-sighted.

Is Tua the GOAT? Hell no! Is he Clint Mosley from Hawaii as you assert? Hell no either. Dude was good, fit their system, super accurate in that 5-15 range, was a key cog of their retooled offensive machinery for a couple years. Deep ball lacks something to be desired. Fragile as Tiffany glass. All of those things are true at the same time.
You give Clint Moseley that much time to throw and receivers who had the kind of separation his did?

He might still be a Northwestern Mutual Financial Representative today but he’d be a former SEC player of the year (candidate at least) Northwestern Mutual Financial Rep.

I don't know about that.  Hard to see over the line from this position.

I'm in camp asinine, I suppose.

Dude is going to set an INT record or get snapped in half when his 7 yard cushions aren't there.
His WRs in college were THAT much better than the other teams' secondaries. Then throw in the lack of holding calls......the last decade.

He's no Joe Fucking Burrow.
Neither is Joe Fucking Burrow.

He'll probably end up a decent NFL QB.  But he's gonna get that cockiness bitch slapped out of his mouth in a hurry.

Really need to invent a new word for the guy.  He was cocky as fuck but pretended to be humble.  So "cumble"  or "humkey"

Humblecock.

I think he'll be pretty damn good, eventually.  But right now, he's a rookie QB on the Bengals.  That's a sure fire recipe for pain.

Ugh...no. That dude was a bad ass in college. He is the best college QB I have seen in a long time.

And how can you not be cocky? I want that in a QB. Pretty funny you call out someone for being cocky but than would have taken a bullet for Cam when he was at Auburn. Burrow didn't hold a candle to Cam in the cockiness realm.

And we will see how good LSU is next year without Burrow. Yaw Yaw got all kind of accolades, but he is the over rated one in my opinion. Let's see him without Burrow and Joe Brady. Good luck with Ensminger...

Cam clowned.  Burrow was cocky. Difference.

Besides, I don’t recall burrow playing for Auburn, therefore I have no allegiance to him.

Cam is cam.  Bo? He was a cocky SOB.  Backed it up too.

Here's my take on Joe F'n Burrow.  Obviously, the guy went from average SEC QB to one of the best the college game has seen in a matter of one season. Was it the passing system that Joe Brady put in place?  Certainly that contributed to it, but more than anything else, allowed Burrow to do what he already had the ability to do.

Go back to his high school career.  I have no idea what size school Athens H.S is, or even where it is.  But the guy was a 3 year starter and in that time, he threw for over 11,400 yards with 157 TD's and only 17 INT's.  Also rushed for over 2,000 yards with 27 TD's.  As the saying goes, that's impressive against air.  It was also good enough to get a call from THE Ohio State University.

I'm just guessing here, but I don't imagine he got a fair shot at tOSU with all that talent at the QB position already on campus.  So, he enters the Continuum Transfunctioner thingy and lands at LSU.  Unfortunately, Co Yaw Yaw was keeping the Les Miles tradition alive with great defense and super conservative play calling. Had that continued, I imagine Orgeron would have quickly followed Miles out the door himself.  But to his credit, and immediately following another ass raping by Lord Saybinz & The Professionals, he said, "We can't do this anymore.  Next year, we're taking all this talent and opening it up."  I remember taking note and asking who this cocky mofo was after Burrow openly said that next year, they were going to light up the scoreboard.  That was long before Joe Brady ever set foot on LSU's campus as an employee.

Just an outside observation and assumption here.  I think as soon as O said they were opening it up, Burrow knew he was going to get his shot to show what he was about, regardless of the new coach.  Did Brady put in a great system?  Of course he did.  Did he teach Burrow overnight how to be insanely accurate on every type throw?  No way.  Did he teach this QB how to go through progressions and see the entire field in the few short weeks he worked with him?  Didn't happen.  Not possible.  Did he show Burrow how to feel pressure and understand when the perfect time was to take off?  If he did all those things in that short amount of time, then Joe Brady is THE Football Coaching God.

Burrow already had all that in him.  It's obvious that the game slows down for him, unlike most other college QB's.  And Brady's system allowed him to take advantage of his abilities.  Now, he'll be at a level where the talent around him is no better than anybody they face.  Probably worse than most teams. And he'll be staring down linebackers who can run with most receivers and will certainly track his ass down in a hurry.  I hope Goat Boy succeeds, but I wish it wasn't with such an irrelevant franchise.

Agreed. And cockiness is simply innate when you are on a much, much higher level than anyone else.

Pffftttt....whatever, dude. You don't know because you didn't watch. Go back to every football thread from last year. Your standard post:
"I didn't bother with that. I was playing golf, yelling at minorities, arguing with the local government about a bridge tax, etc. I don't need football. It's all flawed and basic."

Blah blah blah.

Burrow's one year turnaround is nothing short of amazing. Boy can play. Now, he may get killed behind that swiss cheese line in Cincinnati, but no doubting how good he was last year.

FOH with these weak takes. Actually watch games again then comment.

They're serving dick and beans in the cafeteria.  Try some.  It's a two-for-one special so you can serve some to your ass buddy.

I didn't watch much all of Auburn's games, that's entirely true.  I didn't want to.  I did, however, watch almost all of every one of LSU's games due to other people in my life who were glued to it.

It was nice.  I was able to watch more or less dispassionately while they worried and sweated it out.

Burrow had a good year. Never denied that.  One good year -- unless you're Cam Newton -- doesn't always equate to a successful career.  I think he will do okay (said that).  My only comment in his regard is that the NFL (and particularly in part because of where he's playing) he is going to get the cocky smacked right the fuck off his smug face.  I stand by that.  Not exactly a radical take.

Was it the "greatest season in college football history" as some would claim?  Not in my book.  What Cam did with less talent around him remains the benchmark. I don't think any player has ever dominated the game in the way Cam did. Tebow has a legit argument.  So does Tommie Frazier.  There are others. I just don't remember any of their names.

Tubular Topangabunghole isn't in that conversation. He's not in that neighborhood. He's not in that town, county, state, country, continent, planet, solar system or universe.  He's not in any list of top SEC quarterbacks in history.  For all your bleeding gash defense, he never did shit of any consequence in college.  Five touchdowns against a pack of broken legged nuns doesn't mean squadoosh.  On that I've been consistent since day one.  And (as always) I will be proven right.  Accept it.

** Edited to add:
You and your posse are wrong.  I checked. I got frustrated and slammed Gustard frequently, but I weighed in (heavily) on the games fairly often.  Some of them I didn't watch.  Some I waited to catch pieces of in replays, but I kept up.  Kept up enough to provide insight you won't find anywhere else -- and you're getting it for free, so keep that in mind.

I said on October 30 (you can look it up) that Gus would announce a new offensive coordinator that he'd "turn the offense over to."  That was well before those tables turned.  (hint, I was right).

I said Chad Morris wouldn't make it through the season at Arkansas about four games in (hint? Right again).

I said Dumbo Pisser was an overrated hack and a bad hire at TAMFU.  Think that was gold, too.

My position on Twhoover Trucksacorona is clearly defined, extremely consistent and (as you will see) righter than fuck.

My take on Gus is also fairly consistent and (as you will continue to see) correct-a-mundo. I chose not to adopt the "well, we should accept who we are and be grateful" mouse-like philosophy some found more comfortable.  Fuck Waffeupagus.

I said a lot of other things that were so dead on, they're frightening -- too many to list.

Did I miss a few?  Sure.  After LSU beat us for no reason I could understand, I expected them to lose two or three games before the season was out.  Didn't see their epicness coming. I honestly (at that point in the season) expected them to shit the bed against A&M. Incorrect.

I said Will Muschamp wouldn't survive the off season.  By some miracle that defies logic, he did.
