Which way, Bo?

Top Eleven players in CFB history recognized at the game last night.  One of the eleven was Bo (and I think the only living rep who didn't show up for the ceremony).  None were from Bama. 

I correctly predicted eight.  Expected Charles Woodson, Tommie Frazier and Hugh Greene. 

I guessed Brown, Staubach Grange, Herschel, Bo, Griffin, Thorpe and Barry Sanders. 

I didn't see Sayers, Campbell or Butkus coming.  

That said, other than Bo and Herschel who'd have to be on any list I made, I could draft a completely different eleven than that and be just as valid.

Assuming nothing before or after their COLLEGE Career....its hard to get down to 10-12 players. Id almost rather do a top 20-25 in no particular order. 

definites for me:

Bo
Herschel
Campbell (I think he's right there with the other modern 4-5 at the RB position)
Thorpe
Griffin
Barry
Staubach (wrote the book on how the position was played for most of the last 50 years)
Frazier (before Burrow/LSU in 2019, possibly the greatest season by a QB/TEAM in 1995, still may be)
Brown (The Godfather)

Woodson (one of the most versatile players ever)
Manning (same as Tebow)

If only by virtue of 2 heismans - he will almost certainly be on every list.
