Can't make up my mind although I like Orgeron and Burrow. But can they survive a dreadful heartbreaking loss?
Or even worse, can we stomach having to listen to their endless gloating should they win?

Yeah.  The debate over whether Burrow is the best quarterback to ever play the game does get a little tiresome.  And trust me, I hear it every single day.   Lunch today was comprised of a viewing of all the suits he's worn at all the trophy-accepting banquets with the added bonus of a video where he pretends to be Kevin from Home Alone.

Yeah.  The debate over whether Burrow is the best quarterback to ever play the game does get a little tiresome.  And trust me, I hear it every single day.  Lunch today was comprised of a viewing of all the suits he's worn at all the trophy-accepting banquets with the added bonus of a video where he pretends to be Kevin from Home Alone. 

Help me recall. Were we as bad in 2010 as they seem to be now?

The answer is no.  The college football world was trying desperately to keep us from enjoying it by claiming we paid Cam $180K.  Which was absolute bullshit. I think it was closer to $250K.  Best money we ever spent.

I wasn't kidding when I asked if there was a better interior defensive lineman mostly due to the fact that officials turned a blind eye to the abuse that Brown had to endure.
I get letting them play or getting away with the nit picky stuff but you have to flag them at least twice on the most egregious stuff just to let the offensive linemen know that they can't hold with impunity...only they never did.

Sure, he's getting his due in the post-season/career banquet gauntlet, but he's getting a fraction of the Wilfork/Seymour/Suh/Fairley pub...and he's twice the player of half that roster.

If he chooses to play a "full" NFL career, whatever that means for a trench-beast NT these days, I have no doubt that he'll be a statistical freak in more than a few categories.

I agree.
By all accounts he is a good leader and teammate. He has done nothing negative or even questionable on or off the field to be labeled anything other than a great player, citizen and steward of the game. And unlike some others who have drawn more notoriety, Brown doesn't take plays off or disappear for long periods during a game.
He's always battling.
