ACC: Clemson winning this is no story. They were rarely challenged, rarely broke a sweat, and get rewarded by playing in the playoffs. The lesson is belong to a joke conference that still gets national run. There is very little different between the PAC 12 and the ACC except one is close to the old guard's time zone.
B1G: Ohio State looked like they might give the playoff committee a quandary for about an hour before finally dispatching the angry ground varments (notice there are three of those in the B1G). Now the Buckeyes have the task of attempting to actually score points in a playoff game.
BIG XII: Jalen Hurts leaves Alabama to improve his draft stock and it turns out he's still the same mistake-prone-under-pressure quarterback as he was in Tuscaloosa. Oklahoma will likely be embroiled in a coaching search after Hot Rod Lincoln Riley signs up to take some of Jerry Jones' money for the Cowblows next season. Oh, Texas is not back, btw.
PAC 12: Evenly balanced conference of decent and good teams without an elite one. I'll give Crystalballz this - in the post-championship presser for his Ducks when he blew off the idea that playing and losing to Auburn was a bad idea for his playoff resume. League officials need to find a way to get their teams some better press because ESPN is hell-bent and whiskey bound that the PAC 12 sucks.
SEC: Hey, at least Alabama didn't win and didn't get in, right? No, it's more than that. LSU pushed all the chips in when they had a hot hand and got themselves in position for something really special. Georgia was the best of the worst in the East. I get a sense the Dawgs fall off next year. Auburn needs to find a way to beat those guys.
BOWL GAMES: Will any of the star players headed to the NFL actually play? I expect we see record numbers sit out because what's in it for them? They still get the gift cards and swag bag.
HEISMAN: Burrow will win it. He'll choke up when talking about how much he loves Coach O and overcoming being a 5 star reject from Ohio State and landing in Gumboland. He'll thank Joe Brady for taking the LSU offense out of the 1980s. His mother will look proud of him. He'll also cry realizing his NFL future is going to be violent and short. Invest your $$$$, kid.
PLAYOFFS: Any of the top 3 teams (LSU, Clemson, Ohio State) could win it. The media will root hard for Oklahoma/Jalen Hurts to win it but they won't. Alabama and their mediots will claim ratings will be down because they aren't in it. Someone at ESPN will heartily agree with that. Joel Klatt from FOX will demand the SEC be investigated or closed or something. Enjoy your Christmas ham.
