My source tells me that jmar is waiting for the line to shrink to - 1 1/2  before kickoff at which time he places a $150  wager on Auburn. IF it drops to that number, one team is gonna annihilate the other and I'm placing my faith in a freshman I truly believe in.

If I was a betting man, I would bet on our Freshman to eat their ass up regardless of the spread. Malzahn is mixing and dialing it up pretty good lately. Our defense (special teams included here) is good enough to read their offense and keep them in their own territory for most of the game. I also think we get a couple of interceptions and maybe even a pick-six. We were close last week.

There’s not really a specific reason Auburn’s defense hasn’t had that many turnovers, Dinson said.
“Just get to the ball, try to rip the ball out,” Dinson said. “You know, either way you can get the ball, just get the ball.”

Dinson said one thing that would help is if the defense got more sacks — which is what defensive end Marlon Davidson would add to the defense’s list of improvements that they need to make.

They might not be able to pinpoint why they don’t have more turnovers, but Davidson said they can figure out ways to sack the quarterback by watching film. Going back and watching film shows them where they need to clean up their technique and helps them finish on the quarterback.

“I missed two sacks last week against Mississippi State, and that kind of crushed me when I watched it on film,” Davidson said. “If I had just took an extra step here, I would’ve got there, you know what I mean?”

Cleaning up the fundamentals means more sacks — and more sacks means the possibility of more strip sacks.

“You know, we need more sacks and sack strips and things like that,” Dinson said. “Everybody get to the ball, second man get the ball out, things like that.”

Our middle rush is very good and Steele likes to go all out on obvious passing downs, they just have to be looking for the damn ball.
