Bramblett and his wife in a horrific wreck tonight.  Preliminary reports are that his wife has passed and he is hanging on.  Hit in the rear by a 16 year old on Shug Jordan Parkway.

My doctor told me I needed to stop masturbating.  I asked him why, and he said, "because I'm trying to examine you."

That's horrible.  Having been there, the physical damage is only a small part of it.  Wish I knew what to say.

4. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.

After Jim died, Rod took the torch like a champ and did the damn near impossible which was filling Jim’s huge shoes.

He did as good of a job as one could have done and became great in his own right. The raw emotion he displayed by only someone who was somewhat personally invested in the team was evident. And I loved it.

Godspeed Rod.

This really f—-n sucks.

A great voice silenced far too soon. Thoughts and prayers with the Bramblett's kids and the kid still hanging on in the hospital involved in the accident. Tragic.

And now Bart Starr died so that'll be the end of it as far as the media is concerned.  They'll be moving on to that.

Rod was  ga for a class I took. Maybe 10 folks in it. I think it was one of his first while he was a grad student.

Not saying this just because he died. But he was a natural at teaching . Guy was not much older than me but he was ahead of his time. He was engaging and encouraged discussions. He was a sit on top of the desk type and walk around.

I was skeptical after Jim died. After all, he was a legendary in my book.

Rod filled the shoes. Embraced Jim and the opportunity. He was down to earth and a genuinely nice guy.

And it is definitely not fair that two teenage kids are now without a dad or a mom.

I just don’t get it.

I didn’t know him and don’t want to make out like I did.  But back when I had sideline passes and pressbox access I did cross paths with him several times.

Jay Jacobs was the antithesis of an Auburn man. Pompous, condescending, smarmy, oily, self-important.  Bramblett was the opposite. The guy exuded Auburn spirit.  He was friendly and gracious to everybody in the box (much like David Housel was).  Clearly respected and appreciated by all.

He loved Auburn.  You could hear it in his voice.  And he wasn’t afraid to be disappointed or critical when we stunk it up.  I’m going to miss that.  Fyffe was a legendary broadcaster. Rod was Auburn.  I can’t get my head around how it’s going to be now. Where do we go from here?

Just an FYI Rod and Paula had two kids a girl, Shelby, Sophmore at Auburn and a boy, Joshua, a 10th grader.  If y'all can spare anything a family friend setup a gofundme.
