Allen G working overtime to get the UGA game moved up in the season.

The SEC has not yet formally discussed fixing the hiccup in Auburn's schedule that requires the Tigers to travel to Georgia and Alabama in even years on the calendar. Such a move will not happen until at least the 2025 season, the sources said. The compromise to alleviate some of the burden is to move the Georgia game to earlier in the season,. That move is expected to happen starting in 2020, sources said.

Greene said in November he planned to present the idea to the SEC during a meeting of athletics director in February and again at the SEC's spring meetings in May.

Maybe we could move it to right before the LSU game.

This was discussed on our local sports talk station this morning and a FUGA fan called in to further solidify my hatred for that goat aids infested fan base.

"I'm fine with the move because Auburn will be coming off 3 or 4 wins against high school teams and everybody will be hyping them up. By the time we play them at the end of the year, they've always got 4 losses and they hurt our strength of schedule."

The host started naming off the weak sister's of the poor FUGA will be starting their schedule with in years to come and this asshole said "It don't matter who they put on there. We'll still be 12-0 with the talent Kirby's stockpiling."

It's official now, but I don't really understand the logic of this move. What would make more sense to me is giving FUGA another home game this year and from that point forward, we're not playing both FUGA and Bama on the road every other year. So where do they put them on the schedule, right before/after LSU?

That's what will happen after 2024. No one would/could shuffle their schedules in the meantime. This is a temporary fix.

The Georgia game belongs at the end of the schedule, just like always. Why must the ubiquitous they wipe their ass with practically every tradition I've ever known?

Why do you love it?

I don't love it, but I also don't mind it. I loved the tradition of having the games back to almost back. But the away-away series just made it incredibly tough. Overall I'm meh....course I will be meh until Gus is gone too.
