True Russian(ish) meddling
« on: December 21, 2018, 03:59:34 PM »
So deep-pocketed national democrats with the help of Obama stooges planted knowingly false stories and used social media fraudulently in an attempt to sway an Alabama election to the democrats.

The project’s operators created a Facebook page on which they posed as conservative Alabamians, using it to try to divide Republicans and even to endorse a write-in candidate to draw votes from Mr. Moore. It involved a scheme to link the Moore campaign to thousands of Russian accounts that suddenly began following the Republican candidate on Twitter, a development that drew national media attention.

“We orchestrated an elaborate ‘false flag’ operation that planted the idea that the Moore campaign was amplified on social media by a Russian botnet,” the report says....

Mr. Morgan said he could not account for the claims in the report that the project sought to “enrage and energize Democrats” and “depress turnout” among Republicans, partly by emphasizing accusations that Mr. Moore had pursued teenage girls when he was a prosecutor in his 30s.

https://www.nytimes.com/2018/12/19/us/alabama-senate-roy-jones-russia.html

The New York Times -- no friend to the Republicans -- reported this. Guess who didn't bother to even pick it up.  That's right.  al.com.  Completely ignored the story as did every other major news outlet with the exception of Fox.

This is REAL meddling. If they were doing this admittedly is it seriously out of the realm of possibility to consider that these same bad actors were behind the sudden bogus and never remotely proven allegations of abuse thrown against Roy?  Is it too much to think that certain people were paid in new appliances and upgraded home remodeling for briefly making false allegations (anybody remember Christine Bullsay Ford?)

Don't get me wrong, I never wanted Roy Moore as Senator or Governor or anything else. Not a fan of the man.  But to have his reputation completely destroyed (anybody remember Brett Kavanaugh?) by 'false flag' campaigns orchestrated by big money democratic supporters is an utter disgrace.  There should repercussions.

Meanwhile, ol Dougie says that those allegations didn't even help him none.

https://www.al.com/election/2018/12/doug-jones-washington-posts-roy-moore-story-didnt-help-me-win-senate-contest.html

Naw.  Dougster made up about 20 points in the polls simply on the basis of his magnetic Droopy Dog personality. What an idiot.

If I'm Roy (and I'm not) I'm looking at every legal avenue available to sue the democrats responsible up as far as Obama.

I feel the hate...

As I say though... I woundn’t have chosen him.  But against Luther? Lesser of two devils.  Same with Jones.

They played us.  Made sure he was the nominee and then opened the floodgates of unverifiable allegation.  No more doubt that whatever was true or false, the attack was paid for and directed by outside agitators.

Point really though was that this is clear cut, verifiable evidence of election tampering funded by out of state interests, managed by Obama toadies, and perpetrated in Alabama.

From our collective state media? Crickets.  Had Trump backed this same subterfuge against Doug?  Maxine would be in Montgomery marching today, Whitmire and Archibald would be calling for hangings and that insufferable jerk cartoonist would be sketching his fingers to the bone.

Instead? Loud crickets.

That’s what’s wrong with America.  Report the news. Not what you want it to be.

Somebody should do something.

Meh.  I don't hate the guy for being a pedophile.  I hate the guy for an entire list of other things and I believe he is one of the most corrupt this state has ever had.  With that said, I agree.  It's complete and utter bullshit to attempt to destroy someone with completely false allegations and I sincerely hope justice is served on any individual who took part in that.

Tell me again who's crooked, Prowler.  Tell me again.

https://www.foxnews.com/us/cyber-group-touted-by-dems-for-bombshell-russia-report-was-behind-disinformation-efforts-in-alabama-senate-race

A cybersecurity company that participated in a disinformation campaign against a Republican candidate in the Alabama Senate race reportedly penned a Senate report touted as a “bombshell” about Russian social media operations in the 2016 presidential election.

New Knowledge, a leading firm on Russia related cyber issues, was one of the two firms whose report on Russian activities during the presidential election was published by the Senate Intelligence Committee earlier this month.

"Faux" News...smh
I swore I was going to let this be.  That was going to be my Christmas/New Years gift to this board.

But you are the single dumbest individual I've ever encountered in my entire life.  I believe in the American dream.  I believe in the great promise this country offers.  I believe in the freedom of speech and the right to have differing opinions.  I believe that the best things in life require both sacrifice and compromise.

You and the pathetic horde like you make me question every shred of that.  You make me despair for the greatness this nation has lost and may never regain because of the selfish, mule-headed ignorance that drives you and the disgraceful fools like you...all the way to that Occasionally Cortez whore, the shriveled shrew Pelosi, that sack of mouse turds Chuck Schumer, the diseased bag of flesh Hillary, the fake Indian Warren and the great stuffed shirt of nothingness Obama.

You're so blind and you're also so astoundingly ignorant.  It boggles my mind.

I believe in this forum, too.  I believe in the freedom of expression it offers.  But I'm having a hard time with your repetitive stupidity and the cumulative effect your toxicity (and my toxic response to it) has on the dwindling membership here.

That said, I am going to let you be.  Make your stupid, lunatic, bat-crap crazy, anti-American, anti-prosperity comments in your own private vacuum.  I won't bother to read them or respond.  I'm encouraging others to follow the same path.

In sum?  GFY.

"Faux" news reporting what the New York Times had ran earlier.  The good ole, right wing juggernaut that is the  New York Times.  I still see you have a hard time between facts and opinion.  I also see that you still have a hard time coming up with an original or thought out response.  Are you scared? Are you just not smart enough to do that on your own without the help of google and left leaning news sources?  Are you scared that we will find out that any response other than acting like a petulant child from you comes from someone else's talking points?

If you would come out with something other than the shit you posted above we might take you seriously.  Every post is "Do more research", "You don't know facts", "read more".  If you know so much, why don't you share your knowledge to help us change our ways?  Simple fact is you can't.
