Yea it's tubby's responsibility alright. He just refuses to take responsibilty for his actions.
It is well know he throws people under the bus and does not take responsibility for the situation au has been in and is in now. He has a history of it.
Bottom line, this whole deal was a huge mistake. Firing his O coordinator mid season is proof of that. Not to mention the 104th ranking in the nation ,what was it called by au fans? ''the greatest offense to ever hit the field''?
As a boss, he's resopnsible for this whole mess. Like I said before, he's setting up for his buy out.
I don't see how firing the OC is not taking responsibility. I would say doing nothing is not taking responsibility.
Once again you say it is well known that he throws assistants under the bus but you provide no example. Obviously CTT believes it was a mistake to some degree because if he didn't then Franklin would still be employed.
As a boss I make mistakes daily in personnel, job planning, resource management and other areas. If you are not making any mistakes then you are not doing anything and are actually part of the larger problem IMO.
I personally never called this new offense ''the greatest offense to ever hit the field'' but I am sure some did. I was very excited after the bowl game at what I felt like the possibilities were in this offense though.
Still waiting on examples..........
Still waiting to be told what else happened...........
