Week Eleventy Predictions and Prognasticationals
« on: November 07, 2018, 07:57:04 AM »
It's mostly gonna suck, but let's see if we can have some fun.

NC State - 24
Wake Forest - 13
Wolfpack took a beating from Clemson and Wake is improved but not enough to get by the wolveses.

Syracuse 34
Louisville 10
That may not be enough points for 'Cuse and too many for the 'Ville. Petrino gone.

Ohio State 27
Michigan State 20
Sparty plays tough at home and Ohio St. is vulnerable (like Urban's mental health), but the Buckeyes are still the better all around team.

Florida 16
South Carolina 13
Both offenses are predictable and boring. Defenses are alright. Edge to Mullen, I guess.

Kansas State 28
Kansas 17
Word is Les Miles may be the replacement in Kansas. That'll really modernize them. Old Man Snyder appears to be riding out the string.

Alabama 41
Miss. State 13
The Joyless Death Machine marches on and on.

Oklahoma 50
Oklahoma St. 30
Shootout for Bedlam with the more explosive Sooners pulling away from the Mulletted Cowboys.

Kentucky 19
Tennessee 14
Beat Up Blue should be able to push around the dreamsicles.

Notre Dame 34
Florida State 16
Remember when this game was good and exciting? Notre Dame continues on a path to a beatdown in the playoffs.

Clemson 27
Boston College 21
The dudes will put up a fight but they won't be able to stop the Clemson run game. Last challenge for the Dabo Tigers until they meet their fate.

Georgia 34
Auburn 13
Gus is going to try the run and it won't work. Our defense has been giving up rush yards and this is the best running team we've faced. It's going to be ugly.

Pretty much agree down the line.  I'd like to think we can score a few more on FUGA, but the way we've been getting owned in time of possession, they may just grind us into submission.  FUGA is extremely balanced on offense, rushing for 234 a game and passing for 222.  We're averaging 222 through the air but rushing for an abysmal 155.  And negative eleventeen on the ground last week didn't help.

If the Boobs is back up to speed, that will help.  But I don't hold out much hope for that.  He shouldn't have played this past Saturday.

Gus is stupid.
I agree with that prediction as well.  Even though Gus is never going to tell us what's wrong with a kid, injury-wise, it was obvious in the Ole Miss game that Whitlow pulled up at the end of a run and grabbed the back of his leg.  Hamstrings don't just snap back into place and all is well.  They need time.  It was also obvious that he wasn't ready this past Saturday, so why put him in the game, much less give him the ball?

Pettway was injured when we played Clemson last year.  They ran him 100 times.  Kerryon was injured when we played FUGA in the SECCG and they ran him 100 times.  Sean White was injured two years in a row against FUGA.  He ran him out there both games.  Why?  No way Boobee was close to 100% Saturday.  Why the hell is he on the field?

Five statements of WISDOM
1. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity, by legislating the wealth out of prosperity.
2. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.
3. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.
4. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.
5. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friends, is the beginning of the end of any nation.

Oh, they'll trott Whitlow out there and get him killed. Then Stidham will get killed. Then the defense will quit. And the ass whipping will be only half over.

I predict that instead of a "GAMEDAY BITCHES" text, I'll get a "FUCK GEORGIA" text, and I'm fine with that.

Fuck Georgia.

Agree with your predictions although
Mullen is said to be in trouble if he starts Franks so I like USCe.

Maybe we throw it 55 times like Uncle Rico at Washington State and somehow move the chains and stay out front of their ground game.
Recent history says Gus can't get a lead and keep it in this series though.

I can't get a good read on Florida-USCe. I went with the coach I think is better but that one is a mess. Georgia broke something in the Gahtah and they are flailing to recover. The Gamecocks have been up and down all year so it's hard to know what to expect.
