Wiley looked better was the only take from last night.  He had 18 points off of 5-7 shooting in 16 mins of game time.  Doesn't matter who you are playing.
Pearl is going to ruin him.

He didn't lead the break, he was the break.

God, I'm so glad I don't have to watch that abortion ever again.

"Bowers grabs the rebound and comes out of the pack, leading the break.  Comes across half court.  Has Harrell open on the wing.  Takes it down the lane himself, goes up for the dunk aaaannnnd throws it off the top of the back board and into row 10 of Section 3.  We'll have a brief timeout while they retrieve the ball.  Folks, this Saturday, the Auburn women's golf team will be in Gainesville for the....."

Yeah. It looks like we are still trying to figure out how to use Wiley.
The team seems to like the smaller line-up. Once they git it figured out, we should be very stout.
Because of this, I don't think we hang with Duke, yet.(if we make it that far)

Closer than I would have preferred, but I'm glad they're getting tested.

They still look to shoot the 3 too quickly...but it's hard to fault them for that since so many of them are pretty good at it and I like their tendency to look for the extra pass.

I like that they didn't start the game in a scoring slump, rendering the rope-a-dope unnecessary, and love that the defense is smothering.  I admire a team full of shooters that so obviously loves playing defense as well.  Having one or two of those guys is a luxury.  Having a starting roster full of them is a goddamned embarrassment of riches.

Horace Spencer is the most improved player on this team.  From his first minute to helping seal this win, the guy has steadily gotten better.  Really happy for that guy and hope that his last season is memorable.

Jared Fucking Harper: sharp shooter, assist machine, supersonic speed freak and DUNK MONSTER.  That fucking guy has balls the size of monster truck tires.  He's a harassing defender while at the same time flashing down the court to put 2 on your face.  Give him Bryce Brown and the outside is deadly.

Okeke/Wiley/McLemore: can you believe this group gets second-page coverage on this team?

Don't forget about Doughty and Dunbar.

Duke is a jaw-dropping collection of superstars, but this Auburn squad plays like a team.

Gonna be plugged in to watch the AU/Duke matchup. Curious to see how this goes down. They need to give that Zion kids fits as much as they can. I see this as a doable W for AU.

It's there for the taking.  I like our experience vs. their youthfulness.  I watched Duke against Army and E. Michigan.  Two tune ups obviously.  But Army especially, moved the ball around quick as hell and got open shot after open shot.  Still had it within ten 3/4 of the way through the game until Duke went on a couple of mini runs to distance themselves.

SDSU played them tough for a half but let it get away.  I'm pumped about this match up.  Just stay out of foul trouble and this could be damn good.

Nitpicking a win over Xavier at a neutral site six time zones away when we didn’t play well and pondering chances over Duke.

Amazing.
