I've noticed recently that many sports announcers -- particularly females -- are dropping the fucking "T's" in certain words. I think it's a sorority-speak holdover, but I absolutely hate it. For some reason it pisses me right the fuck off.
Words like "buTTon" are pronounced "Bu-uhn"
Watching a little Sunday NFL Countdown and I've heard a couple of them talking about PeyTON Manning and Sean PayTON and pronouncing it "Pay-unh"
Makes me want to punch them in the throat. I hate it.
