Auburn 31, Ole Miss 30
Shootout in Oxford. The RebelBearSharks are without top WR DK Metcalf and have no defense. Auburn's sputtering offense should still be able to move on that bunch but our DBs are still recovering from the 3rd Degree Burns Guarantano laid on them last week and will give up chunk plays to the home squad. Carlson saves the Gus Bus from going off the revene with a late FG for the win.
Alabama 42, Tennessee 13
Will be another game where the Tua Tide jump out with early big plays and points then grind down an opponent over the course of the game. Expect to see a lot of Jalen Castoff Harris too as Saban protects the knee of his Hawaiian throw machine.
NC State 25, Clemson 24
I'm calling for the upset. NC State is undefeated, playing smart football, and Clemson is not the world beater they are made out to be. Wolfpack defense will have to hold up against a stout run game but that flashy QB can be gotten after. If Clemson tries slinging it, he's going to be in a world of hurt.
Oregon 41, Washington State 31
Will be closer than Oregon would like for a bit because Mike Leach's offense is a problem to deal with especially at home. However, the Wazzu cats lost their running game and the defense isn't as good as it was. Oregon is now more of a power team with a legit stud at QB and the Ducks D squad is capable of landing haymakers. Should be a shootout game with the Ducks flying high by the end of the 4th.
Kentucky 20, Vanderbilt 13
The Wildcats may not be real contenders for the SEC East, but Vanderbilt is coming off some physical games and is beat up at this point. I expect Kentucky to keep doing what they've been doing all year - run and play good defense.
Washington 24, Colorado 21
Both of these teams need a win. Washington's playoff hopes are gone and so may be their PAC 12 hopes. Colorado got exposed by USC last week and as the competition gets better, the exposure shall continue. Probably a close game as that's what Washington tends to play but I don't see Colorado having enough steam to get by the Huskies.
Michigan State 17, Michigan 14
Michigan State can look like garbage all year but in big games, they show up and screw up someone else's season. Michigan isn't that great at offense but has a good defense. Michigan State can move the ball through the air and can handle the Michigan run game. Taking Sparty in the upset here.
LSU 20, Mississippi State 10
"F--- them, three." - Ed Oregeron's crew bangs out another body-blow type of win in the SEC West.
